During internal combustion engine working process, rodbushing is affected by the gas force, the inertia force from the crank-rod mechanism and theheat released by the gas combustion.This paper takes a specific type of connecting rod bushing as the research object topresent a simulation analysis. Via the force analysis of connecting rod mechanism, themaximum gas force and the inertia force of the certain type of rod bushing can be calculatedduring internal combustion engine working process, the gas force adding to the inertia forceequal the maximum mechanical load of rod bushing is achieved when internal combustionengine is working.Modeling and simulation analysis is carried out on the rod bushing by ANSYSWorkbench. According to theoretical formula between the interference and stress, judge thereliability of the simulation model. Use the reliable model to simulate, considering themechanical load and thermal load influence on the rod bushing, thermal-Mechanical couplinganalysis is carried out on the connecting rod bushing. When interference is too large, it willcause the connecting rod bushing invalidated due to too much stress, when interference is toosmall, the pressure will not be able to transfer enough torque, to meet the constraintconditions of structural strength and ensure that connecting rod bushing and connecting rodhas no relative motion, the assembly interference quantity range between connecting rodbushing and connecting rod is given, this provide the gist for the design of connecting rodbushing. |
