The connecting rod bushing is a small part in the crank link mechanism,but its use can effectively al eviate the stress concentration in the small end of connecting rod,greatly reducing the wear of the connecting rod small head,so as to enhance the service life of the connecting rod.The rod bushing is arranged in the small head hole by the method of interference connection,and a certain gap exists between the rod bushing and the piston pin.Also in the p rocess of engine operation,the connecting rod bushing is affected by the pressure of the cylinder,its own inertia force and other factors.In such complex working environment,at the same time to ensure that the work can effectively play its role,so it is necessary for a detailed analysis of the interference contact of the connecting rod bushing,to provide reference for further analysis of the linkage structure strength.This paper is based on a certain type of engine connecting rod bushing as a main research object,analyzes the force of crank connecting rod mechanism in the process of engine working,and obtains the force of connecting rod under maximum gas force and reciprocating inertia force.Then,through the calculation the connecting rod bushing force under the maximum compression condition,combined with the theory of the combination of thick-walled cylinders in elasticity,calculate the combined pressure required for the fitting of the connecting rod bushing in the interference assembly and the range of interference during assembly.And then use Workbench to set the contact to simulate the interference connection.By comparing the calculation results and the simulation results of rod bushing assembly contact pressure under the condition of different interference,verify the reliability of the simulation model.At the same time,the range of the interference value of the connecting rod bushing was initial y determined.Then using the contact model to analyze the stress distribution and contact condition of connecting rod bushing in different interference values under the condition of maximum compression.Finally,the minimum contact pressure generated by interference assembly meet the torque requirements,the maximum interference will not cause the yield of rod bushing,at the same time,does not affect the stress distribution of the whole connecting rod as the basis,to limit the range of the interference fit of the connecting rod bushing of the engine,which lays the foundation for the research of the lubrication,fretting and optimization of the connecting rod bushing.
