In the traffic signal control area,multi-period signal control is one of the common methods.When intersection signal control plan is changed,the corresponding transition plan need to be determined to realize reasonable transition between different timing plan.Vehicle delay can be reduced and the signal control effect of the new plan can be well realized by reasonable transition plan during the period of transition.Traffic efficiency will be reduced and overall signal control effect of the system will be affected by unreasonable transition plan.Therefore,it is very important to study the signal plan transition method.Therefore,this paper focuses on the traffic signal control plan transition method.The main work is as follows:Transition optimization algorithm of single intersection based on phase sequence changing is proposed for single intersection.Firstly,the judging model of phase sequence conflict is established,where the conflict relationship between the phase sequence of the old and new signal plans can be judged,and the position of the allowable transition time is discussed.Furthermore,the model of equilibrium queuing length is established based on the concept of queuing equalization.Then objective function is built to equalize the queue length and phase time is solved by using particle swarm optimization.Finally,the transition cycle calculation method based on queuing length under different conditions of phase sequence conflicts is proposed.Actual requirements of intersection will be satisfied and overall signal control effect is enhanced by the transition cycle calculation method.Transition optimization algorithm of coordination control based on fluctuation analysis is proposed for arterial intersections.The fluctuation models of offset,cycle and green time ratio are established.Then the comprehensive fluctuation models of the three models are established.After that,taking the minimum comprehensive fluctuation model as the objective function,corresponding timing plan is solved by using particle swarm optimization.The disturbance of the plan transition to traffic flow is reduced.In summary,the transition methods of the signal control plan is researched by this paper.More specifically,the transition method of signal plan of the single intersection and the coordination signal plan of arterial intersections are studied.The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by comparing the case simulation with the classical transition algorithm.
