Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM)has the advantages of low cost,stable operation and high efficiency because of the simple double salient pole structure of stator and rotor.In recent years,SRM has been widely applied in aerospace,hybrid new energy electric vehicle,textile industry and so on,and gradually done to electric tools and household appliances.Owning to inherent double salient pole structure and switching pulse driving mode of power tube,SRM has higher radial magnetic force and torque ripple compared to the conventional permanent magnet motor and induction motor.The vibration and noise caused by the radial magnetic force and torque ripple has become an important issue to hinder the application of SRM.Firstly,these parameters is analyzed in this paper,such as the outer diameter of the rotor,tooth height and yoke thickness of stator/rotor,pole arc coefficient which has influence independently and mutually on the static and dynamic characteristics of SRM,and SRM rated 1kW is designed with low vibration and noise.Secondly,a rectangular slot is set on the top of stator tooth,and an eight polygon do around the annular stator yoke,and flux and the radial force wave is compared before and after slot in order to reduce electromagnetic vibration.Thirdly,based on the Equivalent Magnetic Circuit(EMC)method and magnetic field segmentation,the air gap magnetic field is divided into four regions,and magnetic curve is simulated with parabola and line segment lines.Three overlapping air permance of stator and rotor is calculated,and the radial force wave is deduced before and after slot.It is validated effectively with Finite Element(FE)that the stator slot can reduce the radial force.Finally,modal analysis of traditional stator and new stator is obtained by FE.It is proved that the new stator yoke can effectively increase the natural frequency of the stator.
