The fridge is a most useful home appliance,The noise which produced can make people feel annoying.In this paper,a series of analysis and experiments have done on the mechanism of the fridge’s noise generation.Through acoustical instruments to find out the location that the noise come from and the related parts;Through the simulation software to analyze and improve the related parts;Through the experiment to improve the verification.The fridges are tested by the acoustical instruments such as Acoustic camera,Sound level meter and Data acquisition instrument to find out the possible sources of noise,then we will make sure if there is resonance state among the parts in the fridge by testing the whole fridge box and all the parts called modal analysis.Analyzing the structure of the compressor chamber cover by using COMSOL simulation software.The influence of different parameters on the transmission loss is determined,and the effect of different parameters is optimized,and the new structure is installed on the fridge to verify the noise reduction effect.Using the method of pasting sound-absorbing cottons in the compressor chamber to eliminate reverberation.The acoustic analysis model is built by COMSOL simulation software,Analysis of the influence of the reverberation of each wall,determine the appropriate position and size of sound-absorbing cotton.And actually pasted fridge sound-absorbing cotton experiment to verify noise reduction.Vibration mode analysis of the compressor fixed plate.Analysis of its structural defects,then structural improvement has done,and testing to verify the effect of noise reduction.
