A Visual Analysis And Application Study Based On Travel Data Of Urban Rail Traffic

It is obvious that rail traffic has generally become the first choice for citizens to travel around the city.With the increase in passenger flow,the issues like advertising,distributing flyers,begging,and robbery has appeared and heavily affected public security and public travel experiences.In rail transportation,automatic fare collection system is an essential part.This system accurately records the cardholders' travel information which provides very important clues for police to track suspects.However,the huge data and complicate stored forms bring much efficiently problems for police department.Therefore,how to quickly retrieve the needed information from the massive data base is a key part for helping police to improving passengers' experiences.In this background,based in reality data base and cases,this essay designed and implemented three visual retrievals,and using modern visualization interactive technology achieved a system which combined retrieval function and verification function.The main contributions of this essay are:(1)Analyzing the characteristics of abnormal traveling records,and according to the analyzed results,this essay proposed three visualized query methods: based on original station and entering time,based on original station and traveling distances,and based on original station and traveling time.Through interactive way,officers can quickly find suspicious records from the large data base in the web port.This function is the background for verifying abnormal IC cards.(2)In order to confirm if the suspected IC card is the abnormal IC card that the police officers or staffs are looking for,this paper carries out further interactive analysis on the system.This essay designed the visual interacted view for presenting previous month data of the suspected IC card.Through this visual method,the officers can analysis and verify the card from the perspectives of historical traveling pattern,traveling time and location.(3)Furthermore,this essay designed a 3D traveling pattern compering view to show the information of other IC cards which have high similarity traveling patterns with the suspected card.This function satisfied the demand of finding the abnormal cards group.To sum up,this essay achieved a complete visual analyzing system based on traffic records.From the view of result,through the three retrieval methods and single IC verifying view method,this system can effectively helping police department to search and verify the abnormal IC cards.
