With the rapid progress of society and the continuous development of economy,the ownership of motor vehicles is also increasing,followed by urban traffic problems which become increasingly serious.The coordinated control of urban green belt is an effective way to alleviate the problems.It cooperates to coordinate the phase difference and green letter ratio of several intersections on the trunk line to reduce parking times,parking time,vehicles delay.So it is very important for the research of coordinated control of green waves in urban trunk lines.This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of domestic and foreign scholars on the coordinated control of green waves in urban trunk lines,and studies the coordination control model of trunk green wave and the coordination control of trunk green wave control subarea.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,The control effect of arterial green wave is affected by the vehicles in and out of sub-arterial road and the pedestrians.The paper puts forward a offset optimization method of one-way green wave considering the Impact of the vehicles in and out of sub-arterial road and the pedestrians.First of all,the two-phase queuing and dissipation model is improved to four-phase queuing and dissipation model based on the analyzing of influence of the left turn vehicles from upstream secondary roads on the downstream intersection.According to this model,the traditional offset is optimized.Second,the delay produced by pedestrian is computed on the basis of analyzing the influence of pedestrian crossing on arterial traffic by using the weighted average method.Then this paper further optimizes the traditional offset.At last,the model is verified through the VISSIM.The results show that the optimization method can effectively reduce the vehicle delay,the average stopping time and the average parking frequency.So the optimized method has better control effect for the green wave.Secondly,through the research of the correlation of the sub-region division and the sub-region division based on coordinated control target,a method of partitioning the green wave sub-region,which considers the coupling degree and NV value,is proposed.This method divides the sub-regions into sub-regions in view of the coupling degree and the green wave sub-region method based on the combination of NV values.Then,the sub-regions are subdivided by the ensemble operation and the intersections are in the same sub-area.Finally,the results of VISSIM simulation show that the method is valid and practical.Thirdly,through the analysis of the condition of the vehicles,which are released in the upstream subzone,and the green belt of the subarea,an optimal method is proposed in this paper.In order to ensure that the number of the vehicles that travel from the upstream sub-area to the downstream sub-area is the largest when the traffic lights are green,the optimal offset between the adjacent sub-regions is calculated to maximize the intersection of time interval,that vehicles which exit from the upstream sub-area when the traffic lights are green arrive the first intersection of the downstream sub-area,and the green belt of the downstream sub-area.The results that simulated in VISSIM show the proposed method can optimize the effect of the green wave coordination between adjacent sub-regions and improve the traffic efficiency of the roads.
