Radar is an important equipment on the battlefield,and its appearance has made a great change in the pattern of modern warfare.The airborne bistatic radar is more advantageous than the monostatic radarIn the detection of ground moving targets,so it has received wide attention.However,there are still some key problems to be solved before apply space-time adaptive processing(STAP)to airborne bistatic radars: more severe and complicated clutter range-dependence than monostatic radar,which will result in a sharp decline of STAP performance.This paper mainly studies the problem of the range-dependence compensation of airborne bistatic radar clutter,the main works is as follows:1.The geometric scene model of airborne bistatic radar is established,and the clutter signal model is established based on this model,which can accurately simulate clutter characteristics in arbitrary scenes,and provides a basis for the subsequent research.2.The optimization of bistatic configuration method is studied in view of the clutter range-dependence problem caused by bistatic radar configuration when suppressing the clutter.The optimal bistatic configuration is obtained based on the optimal bistatic configuration criterion by simulation,which can partly reduce the range-dependence of clutter.3.This paper presents a method to compensate the clutter range-dependence which named adaptive angle-Doppler compensation with slope compensation,and verifies it via simulation.This method does not need any prior information,and can adaptively compensate the Doppler frequency and angle frequency deviation over the center of clutter Spectrum and the slope difference of different rangebin,and can further reduce the range-dependence of clutter on the basis of configuration optimization.4.The monostatic and bistatic radar are extended to the dual plane cooperative system,the clutter suppression and target detection in dual plane cooperative mode are studied,and the clutter suppression performance under different working modes is analyzed.
