The innovation and popularization of automobile air condition,is one of the important ways to improve the competitiveness of the vehicle.In recent years,with the development of automobile industry and the improvement of living standards,the requirement of automobile comfortablity,reliability,and security has been increasing,and the automobile air condition can greatly improve the comfortablity.Therefore,it's significant to research and develop the automobile air condition system.In this paper,concluded research result about the characteristics and requirement of a SUV automobile air condition,and according to analyzing the various parameters of the key subsystems and components,the theoretical calculation model of the SUV vehicle air conditioning system is elaborated,on the basis of which,the matching parameters of condenser and evaporator are determined,and also the power of expansion valve,the displacement and shaft power of compressor,as well as the corresponding device is selected.Using the CFD technology to simulate the distribution of air conditioning duct and volume,that is an effective way to research the air characteristics of automotive air conditioning system and parts.The design issues can be found in advance by using CFD technology,avoided,mould modification.CFD can reduce the product development period and cost,and can provide full and accurate information.The design feasibility is verified by real vehicle air condition performace validation in the vehicle environment testing..The project technical plan is the design and development of air condition system on SUV.The vehicle thermal load of the system requirements are matched through ananlyzing the parameter design of air conditioning system related spare parts.The requirement of comfortablity and safety of the car air condition system can be satisfied through the simulation of air duct,wind volume and air flow direction by CFD.
