Synoptophore is ophthalmic medical device that is used to measure the visual level of a patient by looking at different pictures.It is mainly used to test the visual function with simultaneous vision,fusion vision and stereo vision,measure the degree of patient with strabismu,and treat the visual function of patient with amblyopia.It can be said that synesthesia is one of the best instrument for tests and treatment of eye.The content of article include the analysis of mechanical structure of the synoptophore,the research for theoretical method of visual-function detection and strabismus-angle measure,and the difference between the physiological process of strabismus and the normal eye.Based on the research and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages for tradition,a new-design method is offered for high-performance synoptophore.It includes the design of mechanical structure and control circuit,the determination of algorithm,and software progtamming.In order to simplify the complex mechanical structure,the new and high-performance synoptophore uses LCD displayer to instead of the placed-picture mechanical structure of traditonal synoptophore.It can realize the image rotators,display and movement by procedure,and adopt motor to move camera for realizing automatic measurement of the angle of patient with strabusmus.The camera installed in high-performance synoptophore can gain the image of eye which will be transmitted to the control chip.The MCU analyzes and deals with the information of image of eye to control the motor rotation and determine the angle.The new and high-performance synoptophore has many advantages,including simple-machine structure,convenient operation and more accuracy.The design of control system and procedure are based on the chip of STM32F407 in the article.In the process of design,MATLAB is used to make experiment of simulation.Based on the result of simulation,the algorithm will be determined.This text uses STM32F407 development board to carry on the procedure debugging to the already established algorithm,in this thesis used MDK programming software to carry on the programming.The experimental data of the high performance synoptic machine developed in this paper shows that it has better stability,the measurement accuracy is higher than theexisting synoptophores,the human error is reduced,and the structure is simple and convenient to operate.
