Study On The Space Form And The Characteristics Of Traditional Architecture Of Yantai Village

With the advent of the industrial information age,the multiculturalism has been replaced by globalization gradually,and the modern living pattern becomes the main part of social life.A large number of traditional architectures and traditional space forms of villages have been abandoned and eroded.The cultural and artistic values of traditional architectures are gradually disappearing.In such background,this paper takes Yantai village,a famous historical and cultural village of China,as the research object.It is a famous Chinese historical village,located in Fuliang county,Jindezhen city,Jiangxi province.As a typical representative of traditional villages,it contains rich cultural value.Based on field investigation and consulting of related professional information,this paper makes a top-down study of Yantai village,from space to architecture.The main introduction of the thesis is as follows:It begins with an introduction of the natural environment and historical and cultural background of Yantai village and an analysis of the factors affecting space form of the village.Based on its location,spatial form,and the study of the elements of spatial structure: "point","line","surface”,it summarizes the spatial morphological essential characteristics and ways of organization of the spatial seriesThen it summarizes the types,forms,structure and techniques of its traditional architecture,points out its basic characteristics and cultural connotations,according to the present status of its traditional buildings and their distribution.It goes further with the artistic conception expression in the aspect of the architecture of the village space,the embodiment and spirit of space as well as the factors that affect the spatial form of the traditional village,and exposes the relationship between the traditional architecture and the spatial form of the village.Finally,through the study on the space form and the characteristics of traditional architecture of the village,this paper points out the values of space form and architecture of village and their respective problems.Some suggestions are offered for the renovation and construction of village space,traditional buildings,new buildings of new village according to contemporary planning theories and the real conditions of village residence.In general,this paper gives some practical reference for the protection and development of traditional village.
