Analysis On The Influencing Factors Of The Evolution Of Motorized Travel Structure In Big Cities

The continuous increase of motor vehicle ownership has led to the continuous improvement of the proportion of motorized travel.On the one hand,it has promoted the development of economy and accelerated the process of urbanization.On the other hand,it has brought to the limited urban road an increasingly serious traffic burden and caused distress in people’s daily travel,which has restricted the further improvement of people’s living standards.How to reveal the mechanism of urban motorized traffic structure and optimize the transportation system,so that the whole urban transportation system can meet people’s travel demand as well as reduce the government’s economic investment and the waste of land resources as much as possible has become a hot spot in the field of urban transport research.The paper takes the motorized travel structure of large cities as the research object,aiming at studying the evolution characteristics of it,and further analyzing the causes of its evolution.On this basis,the key factors of the evolution of the motorized travel structure are selected by using the method of canonical correlation analysis,and the key factors are sorted by the improved gray relational method and in order to provide a reference for the study of the intervention strategy of motorized travel.The view of the paper is that the competitiveness of the bus is showing a downward trend,and the proportion of rail traffic travel is gradually increasing and private car travel is developing rapidly in the process of motorization evolution.In the process of analyzing the evolution characteristics of the motorized travel structure in the big city,the internal causes of its evolution are identified from the aspect of urban development,living standards and residents’ personal attributes,and the key influencing factors of the evolution of motorized travel in large cities are selected as urban population density,the city GDP,per capita GDP,proportion of population aged 18-35,per capita traffic consumption and travel time consumption.According to the research of scholars at home and abroad to determine a reasonable motorized travel structure is that China’s large cities available road resources are limited,and we should develop public transport to meet the growing needs of residents travel.In the study of intervention measures,to give priority to the development of public transport as the goal,the paper starts from the key influencing factors,according to the degree of relevance to put forward the intervention strategy of motorized development in line with the characteristics of the city.
