BIM is the latest technology concept in engineering construction field,the introduction of our country has more than 10 years,and its application exploring has always been the hot spot of the academic research.At present,the application of BIM technology is more and more extensive.How to improve the efficiency of the use of BIM;How to accurately evaluate the application effect of BIM,the application level and application value;How to scientifically measure the strong and the weak of BIM application ability,the problem is to be solved urgently.This paper studies the development of BIM technology at home and abroad,BIM basic theory and application ability evaluation theory,analysis of the main problems and obstacles existing of BIM in our country project application process;From five aspects,such as safety management ability,cost control ability,schedule control ability,quality control ability and information management ability,summarizes 18 influence indexes,such as comprehensive inspection pipeline collision,statistics of quantities,construction simulation,standard authentication and project information sharing,builds 5A evaluation index system of BIM application ability in the project design and construction stages;Combines analytic hierarchy process,entropy weight method and matter-element analysis,establishes the multi level entropy matter element evaluation model of BIM technology application ability,uses the Yaahp and Matlab software to simplify calculation process,and analyzes vocational education center building engineering in the nenjiang county,heihe city empirically,to verify the feasibility of the evaluation model.The empirical results show that BIM application ability multi-level entropy matterelement evaluation model has strong feasibility and validity.The cost and schedule control ability of BIM in “stronger” level,safety management ability in “strong” level,information management ability in “medium” level,and quality control ability in “weak” level.BIM application ability comprehensive evaluation model has applicability and effectiveness,the model provides a new method for BIM technology application ability evaluation in projects,has a certain guiding role in the actual work.With the rapid development of BIM technology in the field of engineering construction,construction industry in our country will implement the new historic changes.
