As the speed of the railway locomotive vehicle continues to improve,it is important to study the locomotive vehicle's key component of rolling stock bogie in order to ensure the safe operation and smooth operation of the locomotive.How to reduce unsprung mass,thus reduced the action force between the locomotive vehicle and the line is the key to maintaining good dynamic performance during high speed operation.The different suspension modes of the driving device can affect the quality of the spring and the lower spring of the locomotive,thus produce different wheel-rail action force.When the locomotive runs at a speed of more than 160 km/h,the suspension mode of the driving device is usually suspended,so it is of great significance to study the influence of the suspension and suspension parameters affect the performance of locomotives to speed up and improve the dynamic performance.In this paper,the physical model of rigid frame suspension and elastic frame suspension locomotives are respectively established by using a domestic elastic frame suspension locomotive as the reference object,and using the SIMPACK multi-body system dynamics software,and the lateral stability of the two locomotives is analyzed.In view of that limit cycle oscillation problem which occurs during low speed operation of locomotive,it analyzes the impact of suspension parameters on the lateral stability of the locomotive.Results show that the nonlinear critical speed of elastic suspension locomotive is higher than that of rigid suspension locomotives,and to reduce the primary longitudinal stiffness,the installation rigidity of anti-snake shock absorbers and damping coefficient can improve the limit cycle oscillation of locomotive at low speed.In addition,the comparative analysis of the two kinds of locomotive with different speed in a straight line with the same wheel-rail system incentive orbit of runtime,the moving stationary and car body vibration acceleration and the wheel lateral force have been done,and we've analyzed the influence of the primary longitudinal stiffness,the anti-snake shock absorbers and damping coefficient on the performance of the locomotive curve running as well.The results show that the linear operating performance of the elastic suspension locomotive is better than that of the rigid frame.The horizontal stability of the locomotive decreases with the increase of the installation rigidity of the anti-snake-shaped shock absorber,and its transverse force increases with the increase of the installation rigidity of anti-snake shock absorbers.The transverse force of the axle of the locomotive decreases with the increase of the damping coefficient of the anti-snake damper.In the end,the curve lines running performance of two kinds of locomotives which through the four kinds of curve working condition whose orbit curve radius of R300 m,R500m,R1600 m,and R2800 m are compared and analyzed,and we analyzed the influence of the primary longitudinal stiffness,the installation rigidity of anti-snake shock absorbers anddamping coefficient on the performance of the locomotive curve running as well.The results showed that both two kinds of locomotive has good curve running performance,with the increase of the primary longitudinal stiffness,the derailment coefficient increases,with the increase of the installation rigidity of anti-snake shock absorbers and damping coefficient and the curves running performance becomes poor.
