The current catenary maintenance mode is detected by a fixed period,according to the state of maintenance equipment.This kind of maintenance mode has the positive significance to the traditional plan maintenance mode,but the disadvantage is that the maintenance cost investment is big,the pertinence is not strong,and the reliability of catenary equipment is low,which can't match the requirement of reliability for the current railway transportation,especially the high speed railway catenary system.With the increasingly busy rail transport,the maintenance time which is provided by the transport sector is becoming increasingly valuable and the contradiction is becoming increasingly acute between them.This trend requires us to reduce the work of maintenance and improving the reliability of the catenary at the same time.The idea and method are introduced to the maintenance of catenary which based on the reliability-centered maintenance(RCM).Combining with the operating environment and requirements of the catenary system,the failure model and the remaining life model of the catenary components are established by analyzing the reliability of the catenary system.Using RCM logic decision analysis to determine the content,type and cycle of the maintenance for the specific components of the catenary maintenance and then develop a reasonable catenary maintenance plan,intended to make the maintenance focus is highlighted,saving maintenance costs and improve maintenance efficiency.As the catenary system is no spare,to ensure the reliability of its operation is the most fundamental requirements for maintenance work.The purpose of this paper is to develop an effective maintenance strategy,which through analyze the reliability of the catenary system.There are several common methods for analyzing the system's reliability,which including the Bayesian network,Markov random process,FTA and so on.Combining with the actual situation of the catenary system are analyzed and compared to determine the use of the FTA analysis the reliability of catenary system in the paper.At last,the author has summarized the main reason causing the catenary failure and has calculated the reliability of catenary based on FTA.The maintenance plan should be designed to improve the reliability of the system,as well as the maintenance costs and maintenance resources.Periodic maintenance intervals can play a simplified role in maintenance planning,and periodic preventive maintenance can effectively alleviate the contradiction between maintenance activities and transportation.Therefore,the preventive maintenance strategy is analyzed in this paper.In the last article,first proposed several common life model,and the remaining life of the main equipment in the catenary system has been estimated which based on the distribution of Weibull,then given model equipment maintenance cycles with the reliability and economy as constraints for the maintenance of the catenary revised strategy made positive suggestions.
