Based on momentum theorem,a new type of propulsion pump-spiral mixed flow pump is designed under the support of design theory of spiral centrifugal pump and mixed-flow pump.Different impeller types were studied by changing the geometric parameters such as blade number,inlet vane angle and wrap angle,etc.and the impeller type of the helical mixed flow pump which is suitable for the underwater vehicle is determined.The spiral mixed-flow pump impeller type suitable for use in underwater vehicles is determined to have better propellant pump characteristics and thrust characteristics and stable changes in thrust characteristics.The specific research work and conclusions of this article are as follows:The hydraulic parameters of the spiral mixed-flow pump are determined by the existing model numerical simulation and the propelling pump momentum theorem.impeller hydraulic design based on pump design theory and the 3D modeling is carried out by Solidworks and the grid is divided by ANSYS ICEM CFD pre-processing software.Determine the flow rate of the corresponding design condition point when changing the speed by similarity law.Based on ANSYS CFX and CFX-POST steady flow characteristics and unsteady flow of radial force are carried out by numerical simulation.It is concluded that the bare pump can be used to replace the boat-pump system by comparing the external characteristics of boat-pump system and spiral mixed flow pump.The pump characteristic and the thrust characteristic of the design working point are analyzed by changing blade number,inlet vane angle and wrap angle.When the other geometrical parameters hold the line,Z=2??1a=24oand the wrap angle are 360°are the geometric parameter value of the impeller with relatively high efficiency in the corresponding parameters.Internal flow characteristics at impeller channel about blade loading and velocity on blade working face are analyzed by changing the number of impeller blades,the inlet angle of blade and wrap angle at the design condition with 1500r/min speed.Radial force are analyzed by changing the geometric parameters of the blade related to design condition with a speed at 1500r/min in unsteady flow.Z=2??1a=24oand the wrap angle are 330°are the geometric parameter value of the impeller with smaller radial force.The impeller-related geometric parameters are determined with the analysis of pump external characteristics,inflow characteristics and radial forces.It is Z=2??1a=24oand wrap angle is 330°.Radial force under the corresponding design is analyzed by changing the speed and blade loading and velocity on blade working face are analyzed.Pump characteristics and radial forces are analyzed from the influence of internal flow.
