Visual health of the society is going worse,and we can't protect our eyes without the visual test equipment.Most of the traditional equipments are analog,low efficient and not portable.They are incommensurate to the development of world.We need a portable,digital and efficient visual test equipment to solve this problem.This project uses the embedded system with ARM as the core,carries on a vision chart application based on Electron,and realizes the digital transformation of the traditional visual test equipment.The opto-chart is shown on LED screen,it is digital.The size and direction of opto-chart are come from computer,it can change very easily.Besides,application also can manage information of patients,vision test and get report.Formal equipment needs doctor test one by one,but now patients can input information,searching information,vision test and get report all by themselves,which make doctors work more effective.The new equipments is portable,it can be taken everywhere,and make it easier to screen low vision.The equipment is modularity so that it can add new type of chart as a new module easily.The equipment use LED screen which have a longer life length than traditional equipments.This equipment is a more user-friendly,can completely replace the traditional visual acuity table equipment.Its accuracy is not less than the traditional visual test equipments.Its performance is better than the traditional visual test equipments.Its future scalability is stronger than the traditional visual test equipments.This project has completed the development of application software.Electron use HTML,CSS,and JavaScript to build applications.Electron combines the Chromium kernel,Node.js,and system local API to build applications,and applications support platforms such as Mac,Windows,and Linux.Cross platform compatibility is better than the traditional Lua + C framework for embedded applications.
