Automobiles are the most common means of transportation in modern life.Frequent traffic accidents have seriously affected people's lives and caused huge property losses.Automotive anti-collision radar can be applied in the Anti-collision warning,adaptive cruise control and unmanned systems,it can detect obstacles in advance,promptly remind drivers of the danger or take measures such as automatically braking to avoid danger,and effectively improve the safety of car driving.In a word,it has a high application prospect and research value.Currently,the mainly frequency bands used in Automotive anti-collision radar are 24GHz and 77GHz.24GHz radar is usually used for short-range automotive radar,and its detection range is within 30 meters,low cost and wide coverage are its advantages;77GHz radar is mainly used for long-range car radar,which detection range can reach 200 meters.As the mainstream choice in the field of automobile anti-collision radar,FMCW radar has the advantages of high resolution,no detection blind spots,and easy implementation.This paper studies the 24GHz FMCW anti-collision radar for cars.The main tasks are:1.The design and production of 24GHz RF transceiver.The transceiver chip selected in this paper is Infineon's BGT24MTR12.The RF circuit design was completed by using electromagnetic simulation software ADS and HFSS.Finally,this paper realized the function of modulating,transmit-receiving,and mixing of 24GHz signal of the RF transceiver.2.The design and production of FPGA-based signal processor.According to the demand of car collision avoidance radar,the relevant parameters of the hardware circuit were determined.The FPGA chip selected in this paper is Xilinx's low-power series Artix-7,and the hardware circuit design was completed on Altium Designer.The Verilog program was designed on ISE to realize the functions of signal processor such as RF transceiver control,signal acquisition,signal automatic gain amplification and target signal frequency estimation.3.Experimental test.The 24GHz transceiver was tested;the signal processor was tested with the signal generator;the whole machine was tested in the laboratory using the delay line;and the field experiment was completed with the antenna.In the test process,the whole machine works stably,and the test have achieved the expected results.
