The millimeter-wave automobile anti-collision radar system is one of the important parts of the current automobile Advanced Driver Assistant Systems,can be used as Forward Collision Warning Radar,Rear Pre Crash Radar and Blind Spot Detection Radar which can judge whether there is a risk of collision and assist in people driving,improve the safety of driving.Compared to ultrasonic,laser and infrared,millimeter wave performs well in anti-jamming and distance detection,and is less affected by weather change.In addition,millimeter wave radar is also a standard configuration of ADAS system due to its characteristics of miniaturization,large band and narrow beam.It has been greatly promoted in the field of product and related algorithms.Asto the selection of waveform,the automobile anti-collision radar system generally adopts LFMCW(Linear Frequency-modulated Continuous Wave)and the thesis will study on Low Speed Ramp(LSR)and High Speed Ramp(HSR)these two modes of LFMCW anti-collision radar and analyze them by some necessary simulation,and based on the hardware scheme of ADI,the 24 GHz vehicle anti-collision radar under the LSR mode is realized on the ADSP platform.In this thesis,the following work is carried out with the purpose of the realization of the whole system:1.Study and simulate the ranging and speed measurement methods of LFMCW radar,study on matching algorithm,which is used in LSR mode,and implementation of 2D-FFT,which is used in HSR mode,then analyze and compare the advantages and disadvantages of these two modes' implementations.2.Study and analyze the principles of radar angle measurement,and study on the angle measurement method of LFMCW radar.The angle measurement method of LSR is the main subject of study,simulation and implementations in angle measurement part,and the angle measurement method of HSR mode using MIMO form is also studied.3.Study and analyze the hardware structure and implementation of this anti-collision radar system,and implement the LSR mode LFMCW anti-collision radar on the ADSP platform,mainly including the realization of the system control module and the signal processing module.In the system control module,a method of LFMCW radar frequency modulation interval automatic differentiation is proposed.In addition,the implement,based on DSP,of LFMCW radar under the HSR mode is also discussed.4.Test the anti-collision radar system,evaluate the actual effects of distance measurement,speed measurement and angle estimation,then collect the test data.
