| The safety of the aircraft is closely related to the tire performance.In the process of the planes landing and taking off at the airport runway,due to the roughness of road surface,the radial stiffness of the tire has an direct affection on the aircraft landing gear shock cushioning performance and shimmy stability.However,because it is easy to wear,aircraft tire inspection and replacement are very frequent.And the new aero meridian is usually renovated 5-6 times before it is scrapped.Frequent pre-flight inspections bring heavy stress to the aircrews and economic pressures on airlines.For the research of refurbished aircraft tire radial stiffness and strain situation,its main idea is that solves the problem of the wear monitoring and avoids tire wear as far as possible.This paper designs a dynamic wear monitoring based on aircraft radial tire stiffness simulation and puts forward a new method of warning on the tire wear early warning.Through the fixed distance sensor,which is on the top of the tire,detects the thickness of the tread when the plane is motionless.According to the thickness of the wear tire,airline determines whether the tire should be replaced.To get monitoring dynamic threshold for the distance sensor,this paper studies on the refurbished aircraft radial tire radial stiffness and strain,as well as its tire crown expansion under different aircraft weight and tire pressure.Based on this,the dynamic threshold of sensor is developed.The main three dimensional nonlinear finite element model of B737-800 passenger aircraft radial tire was built using the Yeoh rubber constitutive model and the Rebar stiffener unit in Abaqus software.The problem of static contact between aircraft tire and road was successfully simulated using adaptive Lagrange algorithm.Radial tire stiffness,ground imprinting,main area of friction losses and sinkage have obtained by simulation as well as the variation curve of the top tire crown inflation.By the extraction of ABS wheel speed sensor signal,the host wheel system simulation model is set up in MATLAB.Some new methods have been proposed for early tire wear warning.The new methods consists of: calibration of wheel,pulse number correction of the fixed distance,mean value comparative method,same or different airplane wheel comparative method,minimum pulse number set of the fixed distance,threshold calibration of the fixed distance,small sample statistics and so on.Through the stiffness of the airline meridian tire simulation,the problem of the dynamic threshold of the sensor in the wear monitoring is solved,and the monitoring accuracy is improved.The reliability of simulation results is verified by comparison test.The new methods successfully detected on the four main wheels sliding wear and both sides of the tire pressure in the simulation at the same time.The reliability of the precautionary and indirect measurement of tire pressure is verified by simulation. |
