Axial piston pump is widely used in hydraulic system.It has many advantages,such as high power density,high working pressure.The cavitation of axial piston pump has always been an important factor affecting its comprehensive performance.With the development of axial piston pump of high pressure and large displacement,the cavitation phenomenon of flow will become more serious.So,it is a great significance for improving the comprehensive performance of axial piston pump to study the cavitation phenomenon of internal flow field of axial piston pump with high pressure and large displacement,and to explore the method of restraining or reducing the cavitation.The 250 displacement axial piston pumps as the research object of the thesis(Generally,the displacement above 200cc/r is considered as a large displacement axial piston pump).First,the CFD simulation modeling and cavitation simulation of axial piston pump.The whole flow field model of the axial piston pump is established by Pumplinx,the mesh independence of the model is verified and the optimal grid model is selected.By comparing the CFD simulation with the 500 hour endurance test results of axial piston pump,the correctness of the simulation model is verified,and the cavitation was found in the inner wall of the suction side of the valve plate,the cylinder block bottom and the plunger cavity.Secondly,the law of cavitation of flow field of axial piston pump under the different conditions and improvement of valve plate structure.The contrast of axial piston pump with different swash plate's angle and different load pressure is simulated.The results show that the position of cavitation in the pump does not change when the sloping plate angle or load pressure are changed,and when the swash plate's angle or load pressure is constant,the cavitation becomes more and more serious as the other increases.The new valve plate is obtained by changing the position of the damping hole,and the simulation results show that the improvement of the valve plate effectively reduces the cavitation of the axial piston pump.
