With the rapid development of China's animal husbandry,the technology of forage mixing will become more and more demanding.Depending on the difference between the need of actual breeding and the own characteristics of forage,the equipment of forage mixing has vertical,horizontal,slurry and other kind of structures in the form.Today horizontal feed mixer is the most widely used,mainly because of its high efficiency,reliability,as well as the low prices and widely acclaimed.This article mainly uses feed screw with horizontal mixer as the research object to analyze material mixing mechanism of the mixer,the key structural parameters of spiral Angle,stirring arm arrangement,stirring shaft speed and so on.The virtual prototype model was established.the static strength analysis was carried out on the stirring shaft and the modal analysis was carried out on the mixing plant,discrete element numerical simulation,and the mixing system of feed particles trajectory and the mixing uniformity were studied.Firstly,this article analyzes of the structure and mixed mechanism of mixing equipment,and makes forcing analysis to unit feed particles,respectively to get the component of the work on the X axis and Y axis type,so we can get the equation of the position to the particles.Secondly,this article studys the structural parameters and working parameters of mixer analysis to get the basic parameters of the key parameters: mixing silo volume value is 6m~3,stir dragon 1867 mm in diameter,spiral leaf at the bottom of the band and mixing silo wall clearance for 13 mm,the reference value range of spiral with helix Angle is between9.7 degrees and 25.2 degrees,the best value range of stirring device speed is between 20 and 30.95 round per minute.Stirring arm is arranged,and the length of the mixing arm staggered,choose 90 degrees as the phase Angle.Thirdly,the spiral belt was established based on Pro/E software TMR feed mixers of virtual prototype,through the finite element analysis on the stirring shaft static strength analysis,for the spiral belt type mixing device for modal analysis.Fourthly,the EDEM software was used to simulate the number of the feed mixer mixing system.The feed movement was analyzed,getting the motion vector diagram of the mixing particles,appearing the mixing inefficient zone.Feed mixing uniformity was analyzed by the method of mixing the variation coefficient,so we get that the best stir time was 60 seconds under the condition of the current parameters.
