This study investigated the impact of different diets on eel growth and physiological-biochemical index of Monopterus albus. The control feed was composed of commercial feed 50% and iced fresh fish 50%.Then commercial feeds were substituted by rice protein powder in four experiment feeds, and alternative ratio were 25%?50%?75%?100% respectively. The results showed that: the survival rate of each group had no significant difference(P>0.05),but with the increasing of rice protein powder, the weight gain was significantly decreased(P<0.05)and the feed coefficient was significantly increased(P<0.05),25% alternative group growth efficiency have adverse effects(P<0.05),therefore,rice protein powder alternative to commercial feed ratio should be less than 25%;When the level reached to 100%,the body moisture content and crude protein content was found significantly lower while the content of ash was magnificently higher than that was in the control group, crude lipid content was observed lower than the control group, but the body composition of remaining alternative groups was no significant difference; The serum glucose(GLU)content replacement group compared with the control group increased significantly(P<0.05),and rice protein powder for larger proportion, the higher the content of GLU,Hepatic gamma glutamyl transpeptidase(r-GT)activity and serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)activity with a parabolic curve instead of the increasing proportion of rice protein powder,50% to replace the highest activity group,Alternative group serum aspartate aminotransferase(AST)activity was significantly decreased compared with the control group(P<0.05)and 100% replacement group was the lowest,Compared with the control group, instead of rice protein powder had no significant effects on the content of serum total cholesterol(CHOL)(P>0.05),75% serum triglyceride(TG)content, substitution group of 50% replacement group of liver lipoprotein lipase(LPL)activity compared with the control group increased significantly(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the content of rice protein powder replacement group(P>0.05),hepatic lipase(HL),hepatic total lipase activity was significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between group substitution(P>0.05);Superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity, catalase(CAT)activity, glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)activity and malondialdehyde(MDA)content increased with the increase of rice protein powder replacement ratio, increased first and then decreased, with 50% replacement group activity(content)highest,V_E content is on the decline, and the alternative groups was significantly lower than the control group.
