Bashang section of Three-North Forest Shelterbelt Project as an important part of the Three-North Forest Shelterbelt Project, and in a transition zone of Inner Mongolia and Hebei mountain plateau, including counties such as Shangyi,Kangbao,Zhangbei,Guyuan,Fengning Weichang,a total area of over 20,000 square kilometers,is an important section of the ecotone between farming and animal husbandry. Also,it is the coordinated development of Beijing and Tianjin area, the forest ecological project directly affect the ecological environment coordinated development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei province. In order to assess the effectiveness of the Three North Shelterbelt Project,we research and analysis the Changes of forest resources and forest ecosystem services in the year 2000 to 2015.We selected the regulating services and supplying services as indicators of ecosystem services, and selected the area of forest cover, forest conditions, and sand-fixing function as a specific assessment indicator. In this paper,we selected 2000,2005,2010,2015 as the period,The land use data used in this study include the LUCC data in 2000 2005 and 2010,which were extracted from the land use database developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS)land use data. The land use data was interpreted by CAS according to the Landsat Thematic Mapper(TM)and/or Enhanced Thematic Mapper(ETM)images, and the interpretation accuracy is as high as 92.7%.The LUCC data in 2015 was interpreted by Landsat 8 images.Selected forestland data, which used to study the area changes of forestland in Bashang section.By comparison, the area of forestland in study section showed an increase from 2000 to 2015.From 2000 to 2005,which increased by 14 km2,From 2005 to 2010,which increased by 60 km2.from 2010 to 2015,which increased by 57 km.Selected the NDVI vegetation index,EVI environment vegetation index, and vegetation coverage index as the indicators of forest health.Through spatial distribution and Pearson correlation between the three indicators and forestland. The result showed that forestland changes had a lager positive impacts. As a result, the Three North Shelterbelt Project had a positive effect for improving forestland health. In this paper,we selected RWEQ(Revised Wind Erosion Equation)model for the study of soil erosion situation,Calculated the Bashang section in Three North Shelterbelt Project amount of soil erosion in 2000 and 2015,the results show that, the soil erosion in the study area showed striped across, and they were mild both in 2000 and 2015.But in the middle of study area, which in Guyuan County, showed dam erosion because in the section were mainly desert section, but the contrast range of the spatial intensity distribution of regional soil erosion, reduced in 2015 compared to 2000,thanks to the Three Northern Shelterbelt Project in the section to promote forestland improving the ability to resist the wind and sand. The average amount of soil erosion in the study area in 2015 as a whole compared to 2000 reduced by 0.4t/ha·a,the total amount of soil erosion is reduced 974580t.The main reason for the regional government dedicated the implementation and development of each year and invested a lot of money and manpower to the Three North Shelterbelt Project in study area of each year, this 15-year period between 2000 and 2015,the area of forestland in study area had increased significantly, the measures for forest ecosystems in the study had a positive effect. But over time, the construction of artificial shelterbelt trees reach maturity,a large area of death,on how to improve the artificial shelterbelt planting tree species,to achieve the Three North Shelterbelt Project long-term effective sand-fixing function,is a serious problem.
