This paper research on the main forest types about shelterbelt of Haitan Island.Combined with the special ecosystem services of Haitan Island, according to the principle of evaluation index selection, this study builts an evaluation index system which suit for the main protection forests in Haitan Island by the method of expert investigation method, theoretical analysis method and frequency degree analysis methods.In this dissertation, based on the resources survey data, interviews approaches and the experimental analysis for typical plots in Pingtan county, this paper estimate the functions of the main shelter forests of Haitan Island provide by Casuarina equisetifolia, Acacia confuse, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus elliottii, which could help facilitate the protection as well as the management and compensation of ecosystem in Haitan Island, and put forward the way of improving the ecosystem services of Haitan Island shelterbelt.Conclusions are as follows:(1) The total value of Haitan Island’s the main shelterbelt ecosystems services are 37253.93×104yuan/a, of which the direct value is 1252.13×104yuan/a, and the indirect value is 36001.80×104 yuan/a, of which carbon sequestration and oxygen release (8656.88×104yuan/a), water conservation (5063.94×104yuan/a)才,soil conservation (3092.00×104yuan/a), forest protection (14624.72×104yuan/a),atmosphere environmental purification (2438.63×104 yuan/a), social function(2125.64×104 yuan/a) account for 23.23%,13.59%,8.31%,39.25%,6.56% and 5.70% of the total value.(2) Contrasting the four types of forest, the value should be arranged from the maximum to the minimum as:Casuarina equisetifolia, Acacia confusa, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus elliottii. In terms of the per unite value, the value order goes as follows:Casuarina equisetifolia (7.50×104yuan/hm2), Pinus elliottii (5.31×104yuan/hm2), Pinus thunbergii (2.27×104 yuan/hm2,Acacia confuse(1.84×104yuan/hm2).(3) Forest protection ecosystem services of Casuarina equisetifolia are constituted of mainly forest protection (58.80%) and carbon release oxygen (19.68%). There are no significant differences among other function values. Ecosystem services of Acacia confusea is based on mainly carbon sequestration and oxygen release (27.39%) and water conservation (26.30%). The ecological service value of carbon sequestration and oxygen release (33.52%) is the largest, that of social function(4.30%) is the smallest and others have slightly changes of Pinus elliottii. The ecological service value of Pinus thunbergii are mainly composed of carbon sequestration and oxygen release (33.66%), water conservation (24.21%), and atmosphere environmental purification (21.40%).(4) The ways of improving the ecosystem services of Haitan Island shelterbelt were proposed in this paper:improving the laws and regulations, strengthening the planning, publicity and education; improving the shelterbelt ecological compensation; strengthening the construction of shelter forest system.
