Investigation And Research On Coastal Plants Landscape In The Southern Coast Of Qingdao

Coastal plant landscape is an important component of urban coastal real landscape, and also an important carrier of the image of seashore city. The historical character of the cultural diversification of the old city and coastal mountain environment formed the unique characteristics of the old city region, new urban district flourished with the eastward shift of the urban development strategy, the landscape is grand, with rich modern atmosphere, producing distinct contrary to the red roofs, green trees, blue sea and sky west of old city. The study focused on the coastal landscape belt of the southern coast of Qingdao, the research route is across the old city region and the new city region. So through the investigation and analysis on the south coast of plant landscape status, this study discovers problems, summarizes the characteristics and to explores the formation mechanism, and finally puts forward clear optimization suggestion and conception, providing some referenced theories to the construction of urban coastal plant landscape and collaborative development.The main research conclusion of this paper are:(1) The old regions rich in biology and diversity of plants, which dominated by native tree species. Spring and autumn have beautiful landscape and the plant configuration characterized by "tree-herb" and "tree-shrub-herb"model. The coastal line is much indented, and the trees are gloomy. But when to the winter, the landscape is bare and rugged. The greening level in new regions is balanced and the rate of exotic trees is higher, which have better ornamental value and rich level. The new regions aim at the combining natural landscape with geometric regularity of the Western Garden, however, it is in poor local flavor.(2)The overall level of greening on the southern coast of Qingdao is preferable, but there are some problems in plants landscape, such as the lack of balanced greening, reasonable plant configuration and exist dualization in old regions and new regions. In the aspect of plant congratulation, we should increase species richness, well-grown native flora and salt tolerant plants’selection. In the aspect of plants configuration, we should increase layered configuration and the relation of green belt, control the view of the sea and interact with the sea.In the aspect of regional characteristics, we should enhance the application of Qingdao local culture in plant congratulation.
