| Oats is the principal staple for cereal and forage production with the traits of drought and cold resistance,wide adaptability,high forage yield,and good quality,etc.In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s dairy industry,oat hay has been used widely in dairy farming production.In this study,21 oat genotypes were planted in Songnen Grassland Ecological Research Station of Northeast Normal University locate in the western region of Jilin Province(Changling County).A completely randomized block design with 3 repetitions was carried out to test the oat genotypes productive performance and nutritive value.The main agronomical traits and nutritive components were analysised during heading,anthesis and grain filling.Gray system theory was applied to the test oat multiple metrics comprehensive evaluation in grain filling stage,aims to provide a basic reference for the oat forage production in Western Jilin Province.The main findings are as follows:(1)All the oat genotypes matured in the Changling county western Jilin Province.In the term of kernel yield for the evaluation criteria,Baiyan 4,Baiyan 8,Qingyin 2,Qingyin 1,Qingyan 1 and Qinghai 444 were the genotypes with short crop cycle and high kernel yield;by contrast,in the term of high biomass yield evaluation criteria,the genotypes Danyan 111,Tianyanmai,Tianyanmai 1,Baiyan 7 and Baiyan12 were the highest biomass yield genotypes with the traits longer crop cycle and late maturity stage.(2)With the growth progress,oat hay production increased gradually,fresh/dry weight ratio showed a declined trend,while leaf/stem weight ratio presented an increased pattern,CP content reduced gradually,NDF,ADF and WSC content downward after a short rise;meanwhile,the mean NDF,ADF and WSC content were the highest in the anthesis stage for all the genotypes,due to the grain starch accumulation during grain filling stage derived from the crude fiber content decreased.(3)The linear correlation analyzing between oat hay and agronomic traits in grain filling showed that biomass hay was significant positive correlated with plant height,while fresh/dry weight ratio was negatively correlated to leaf/stem weight ratio.Moreover,as the nutritive value,leaf/stem weight ratio and NDF were negative correlated with WSC,while ADF was positive correlated to NDF,and CP was positive associated to fresh/dry weight ratio.The hay weight was highest during grainfilling for all the genotypes(6.20t hm-2),exhibited the highest relative feeding value and existed a high hay production and good nutritive value in this stage.(4)Grey relational analyzing were used to assessment the oat production performance and nutritional value during the grain filling stage,the results showed that:Equal Right Correlation degree showed a similar results as Weighted Correlation Degree,but a reasonable sort indicated adjusted effect existed for Weighted Correlation Degree.Acomprehensive evaluation indicated that Baiyan 12(r’= 0.9496),Baiyan 16(r’ = 0.9383),Tianyanmai 1(r ’= 0.9174),Danyan 111(r’ = 0.9120),Baylor(r ’= 0.9100)and Tianyan(r ’= 0.9073)were the best genotypes,which presented a good agronomic traits and high nutritive quality,indicating these genotypes could be the main promote oats genotypes and widely distributed in the western Jilin Province. |
