There are abundant local goose species resources in China,for example the zi goose in jilin,the wulong goose in Shandong,the wanxi white goose in Anhui and shitou goose in guangdong,but the production performance of different local species of goose varies greatly.In this experiment,representative local goose species were selected and their outstanding production performance was combined to separate different test combinations through simple economic hybridization,the differences in production performance between each test group were compared and analyzed.The aim was to select a complete set of meat production goose with fast growth rate,good meat performance and good down performance on the basis of certain reproduction ability.Six crossbreeding combinations were separated from zi goose,wanxi white goose and Carlos goose from the provenance base of Goose Research Center of Jilin Agricultural University.The results are as follows:(1)Reproductive performance comparison in goose with different genetic basisThe eggs of 6 groups of test-using geese were collected and the average egg weight,average egg shape index,average fertilized rate and fertilized egg hatching rate were determined.Results showed that the average egg production rates of ? group and ? were significantly higher than other group(P < 0.05),and the average rate of ? group was the highest,which was 56.09%;the average egg weight of ? group was the heavest,and the average egg weight of early and late time during the egg production period were significantly greater than the other groups(P < 0.05).At the meantime,egg-shaped index of ? group was also the largest.? group,? group and ? group average fertility rate were over 80%,? group had the highest average fertility rate with the value of 83.37%,? group,the lowest average fertility rate was only 75.22%.The average hatching rate of ? group was up to 86.59%,which was significantly greater than ?,? and ? group(P < 0.05),group ? had the lowest average hatching rate,which was only 67.17%.Through correlation analysis,we can find that there is a relationship between egg weight,egg shape index and hatching rate.Egg weight is positively correlated with egg shape index,while egg shape index is positively correlated with hatching rate of fertilized egg,and fertilized egg hatching rate is negatively correlated with egg weight.(2)Comparison of growth and development performance in goose with different genetic basisFrom the beginning of birth weight recording,six groups of geese with different genetic basis were weighed every week,and the weight changes of each group of geese were recorded.The absolute daily weight gain was calculated,and the growth accumulation curve was drawn to compare and analyze the differences in growth rates of geese with different genetic basis.Results showed that the sequence of birth weight from large to small of the experimental groups were ? group>? group>? group> ? group> ? group>? group and the average birth weight ? group was the largest,which with the value was more significant than the other groups(P<0.05).The average weight of ? group was higher than ? group from the 4th week to the 10 th week.The average weight was the maximum of all groupsin this period and their average weight was signi ficantly greater than the other groups(P<0.05)until the 10 th week for market-using.The growth rate of each experimental groups was fast at the 2-7 weeks,but the growth peaks were different.(3)Comparison of the properties of meat and down production in goose with different genetic basisThe experimental geese were raised to the day 70 and slaughtered to determine their slaughter performance,and then the routine meat quality measurement of chest and leg muscles were followed.At the time of the day 70 and 120,goose down was collected and the quality of down was checked.The results showed that the slaughter rate arrangement as follows: the test ? group > ? group > ? group > ? group > ? group > ? group,the chest muscle rate and leg muscle rate of ? group were relatively high,the leg muscle rate was as high as 14.31%,which was significantly higher than the other group except ? group(P<0.05).PH value and the filtration rate of chest muscle between the experimental group were similar,but the shear stress of ? group,? group and ? group were relatively large and the shear force of ? group was the largest.There was no significant difference in the meat quality between the leg muscles,but the shear force of the leg muscles was lower than chest muscles,and the pH value was higher than chest muscles.At the time of day 70,the weight of thousand of down and the pile length of ? group and ? group were relatively good,at the time of day 120,the weight of thousand of down and the pile length of ? group and ? were better than the other groups,but there were no significant difference.
