There are five kinds of livestock in pastoral of Inner Mongolia, after long-term natural evolution process, they can adapt to the grassland nature environment. These five livestock have irreplaceable ecological and economic functions in grassland animal husbandry activities of Inner Mongolia. To maintain the integrity of the structure of the five livestock is the basic to achieve the healthy development of grassland ecosystem. In the 1980s, with the level of modernization of animal husbandry is raising and the stimulation of market economy, the mode of production and operation of animal husbandry have changed, that is leading to the change of five livestock's number and structure. Climatic factors are one of the natural environmental factors and related to the geographical distribution of livestock. Under the certain conditions of the climate, animals grow and develop, and become an organic whole with climatic. Therefore, this paper research the regional structural characteristic of five livestock in pastoral of Inner Mongolia. This paper by using statistical:excel, spss21 and spatial analysis software:arcgis10.2 to research the regional structural characteristic of five livestock. We use the regression analysis to establish the patterns of livestock's geographical distribution, and use the cluster analysis to divide the pastoral of Inner Mongolia into different regions. In this paper we do some works in the following aspects.(1) on the basis of analysis on the total number of livestock and the change of annual growth rate in pastoral of Inner Mongolia in recent 65 years, we have analyzed the spatial distribution pattern of 24 pure animal husbandry banner from the static and dynamic angles; (2) use GIS software to conduct the Spatial interpolation of precipitation, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, sunshine and other 5 climatic factors, and obtain the spatial distribution of climate resource. Then use SPSS software to conduct correlation analysis and regression analysis, research the relationship between the climate factors and geographical distribution. At last combined with the distribution characteristics of climate resource, selected 11 systematic and through cluster analysis to obtain the regional differences in climate and the regional structure of the five livestock.
