Swine Eperythrozoonosis is widly prevalent in most areas of our country, which has become one of the important infectious diseases that causing the swine anaemia and degradation of production performance. This research investigated the epidemic of Swine Eperythrozoonosis in Ganzhou area and found effective medicine and formulated effective control measures.Results as following:Firstly, 302 samples were collected from 30 pig farms which were chosen from 40 pig fames that producing 1000 barren sows every year in 18 counties of Ganzhou. The infectious condition of Swine Eperythrozoonosis in different stages pigs were investigated for epidemiology. The results show that: The PCR method combined with ray's staining is best in laboratory testing, Swine Eperythrozoonosis is characterized by high rate of infection, low morbidity, mortality and without obvious epidemic trend of seasonal,and the disease that given priority to with mixed infection, secondary infection is principal factor what lead to morbidity and mortality after pigs infected.Secondly, 40 infected pigs were divided eight groups, each group of five pigs, and treated with different drugs. The results show that oxytetracycline and doxycycline are best antibiotics to prevent and cure Swine Eperythrozoonosis. 914 A is a high-efficiency medicineof treat the disease, but with certain side effects.Thirdly, this experiment research the control measures of Swine Eperythrozoonosis in3 pig farms which product 2000 pigs every year. The result display that the medicine can effectively reduce the occurrence of the disease, which is an effective way of prevention and control of the disease. The stress is one of main factors to induce Swine Eperythrozoonosis.so the feed should add doxycycline 200 g/ton, artemisinin, astragalus polysaccharide and extracts from radix isatidis compound 1000 g/ton. It can effectively reduce the happening of the disease to reduce mosquito mechanical transmission across the herd of swine.
