Nutrition was one of the main factors to obtain high-quality seedlings in tomato cultivation,applying slow-release fertilizers was an increasingly promoted method for providing nutrition to meet the growth.The experiment of seed-rearing was performed based on two kinds of slow-release fertilizers on tomato seedlings in greenhouse.By studying the effect of different dosage of APP(2.468 g·L-1,3.455 g·L-1and 4.442 g·L-1)and urea formaldehyde fertilizer?5g,7g,9g?on tomato seedling,we found the best dosage of their own respectively.Based on the best dosage of APP and Urea-formaldehyde fertilizer,we studied the effect of APP mixed with Urea-formaldehyde fertilizer on tomato seedling,to clarify the feasibility of tomato seedlings by using the mixed slow-release fertilizers.Here are the results as follows:1.The effect of APP on tomato seedling growth varied greatly with different dosage.The optimum dosage was 3.455g·L-1in nursery,compared to the control,tomato seedling's plant height,stem diameter,dry weight,seedling index,chlorophyll content and content and accumulation of nitrogen and phosphorus were significantly improved except that root activity and content and accumulation of potassium were somewhat decreased.The results showed that measure doping APP in nursery could promote the growth of tomato seedlings,while root growth and absorption of inherent potassium from nursery of tomato seedlings were affected in the case of deficit of potassium and surplus of nitrogen and phosphorus.2.The effects of urea-formaldehyde fertilizers on tomato growth and development had different significant with different dosage.The best dosage promoting tomato growth was 7g?urea-formaldehyde fertilizer?,7.754g?KH2SO4?,3.025g?K2SO4?,compared to irrigating nutrient solution,the dosage significantly enhanced the morphological index and root activity of tomato seedlings,and promoted the accumulations of phosphorus and potassium.3.APP mixed with Urea-formaldehyde fertilizer promoted accumulation of tomato seedlings' plant dry matter,and improved seedling index,the effect of the accumulation of Nitrogen,Phosphorus and potassium was better to the effect of watering nutrient solution,and achieved to the effect of Urea-formaldehyde fertilizerwhich was twice nutrient content.
