The nutritional supply of science is crucial for the cultivation of young seedlings.At present,the method of fertilizing with water is adopted.Problems also exist in nutrient supply is not balanced ? utilization is low and the environment is polluted.Especially in low temperature season easy to form rigid seedlings.Adding slow-release fertilizer to the matrix is an effective method,which can meet the nutrient requirement of the whole seedling stage.Among all the discussions rise two problems: one is that there still is large grain size?bad effect of slow release,easy to burn seedlings.For these problems,Use powder and slow release fertilizer which is not easy to produce salt damage,reducing the loss of volatilization and eluviation of nutrient,and increasing fertilizer utilization rate.all those seedlings will be-come strong.With the orthogonal design experiment method,The study using tomato analyzed,adding urea formaldehyde fertilizer,calcium superphosphate and potassium humate,the seedling test was carried out with different mixture ratio and matrix.Studying the growth and development of tomato seedlings,sound seedling index,fertilizer utilization rate,flower bud differentiation and the change of matrix EC and pH value.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of slow release fertilizer on tomato seedling.Finding out the optimal combination which can be selected to provide sufficient nutrients for the plant,providing a theoretical basis for the further development of the slow release fertilizer.The research results were as follows:1.The seedling rate of tomato seedlings was above 85%,but there was no significant difference between the treatments.With the development of seedling growth,the nutrient release rate of fertilizer was accelerated,which could meet the needs of the seedlings in middle to late stage,and the plant height and stem diameter increased significantly,dry matter accumulation increased significantly and the root absorption capacity increased.T6 treatment(N 1400g·m-3?P2O5 1260g·m-3?K2O 280g·m-3)of root dry weight was 48.28% and 50.88% higher than T4 and T7 treatment respectively,and the sound seedling index was 52.56% and 48.75% higher than T4 and T7 respectively,and the difference was significant,improve the seedling growth.2.Slow release fertilizer continues to provide nutrient for tomato seedlings,the early nutrient release is slow,the later period nutrient is sufficient.The content of chlorophyll of the seedlings and the root activity increased.The chlorophyll content and root activity of tomato plants were low of T1?T2?T3 treatment,probably because added less amount of nitrogen fertilizer(urea formaldehyde fertilizer)in the matrix.The content of chlorophyll content were all high about T5 and T6 treatment,respectively are 6.81 and 6.77,with significant difference compared with T1,T2 and T3.The root activity T8 and T9 were all higher,respectively are 193.66 and 189.56,The T6 treatment is slightly worse.Explain the T6 treatment(medium nitrogen fertilizer)can guarantee the normal growth of tomato plants and cultivate strong seedlings.Through the variance analysis of the extreme difference,especially in the aspect of dry weight and sound seedling index,the effect of these three fertilizers on seedlings is phosphate fertilizer>potash fertilizer>nitrogenous fertilizer,the optimum fertilizer combination is medium nitrogenous ? high phosphorus ? low potassium,the results are in accordance with the T6 treatment test result.3.Adding slow release fertilizer to the seedling matrix can adjust the matrix EC and pH value properly.The EC value was in the proper range during the seedling life of tomato of T6 treatment,30 d after sowing drop to the 0.68 m S/cm.After sowing 30 d,the pH value is gradually changed from alkalinity to neutral,which is beneficial to the growth of seedling roots and absorption of nutrients.4.Slow release fertilizer can delay or control the release rate of nutrients,so basal application controlled-release fertilizer in seedling could meet the nutrient demand of whole period of tomato.T6 treatment about the concentration of nitrogen and the absorption capacity of nitrogen in the ground and underground parts were the highest,there was no significant difference in other treatments.The fertilizer improved vegetable P and K absorbing and use efficiency.It is indicated that these three kinds of fertilizers play a better role in the interaction between nutrient elements.5.Early seedling substrate in nutrient-rich,after engraftment,tomato seedlings into reproductive growth,seedling early budding rate and the total number of flowering significantly increased,T6 treatment respectively 38.46%,100% higher than T4 treatment,promote flower bud differentiation,conducive to the late production.
