This thesis is mainly on the research of the cultivation technique of cauliflower. Based on previous studies, we did some research on the comparison of development of cauliflower of different growth periods in autumn and spring, the effect of sowing time on growth, the adjustive effect of microbial products on continuous cropping soil. We come to the conclusion as follows: temperature is the key factor affecting the growth of cauliflower, varieties of early maturity can have flower-bud differentiation in relatively high temperature, but with short period from budding to harvest, low yield and general quality of ballflower. Varieties of late maturity can have flower-bud differentiation in relatively low temperature, with long period from budding to harvest, high yield and good quality of ball-flower. We also draw a conclusion that there is no significant production increase of early maturing varieties, when sowed early, but significant reduction, if sowed late. Early sowing and colonization of varieties of mid-period maturity will lead to comparatively high proportion of abnormal ball-flower, and finally affect the yield and quality of cauliflower. The use microbial agents can effectively relieve continuous cropping obstacles and increase production. |
