| Reproductive performance of sows was an important indicator was used to measure performance of pig farming enterprise, reproductive performance of sows was relation to the economic benefits of the enterprise. In our study, 4054 production records of Yorshire, Landrace, Duroc sows was researched and analyzed from a pig farm in Guangdong Province, 6 reproductive traits contained total number born, born alive, litter weight at birth, weanling number, stillbirth, mummy was analyzed, multiple comparison was used to analyze the impact of breed, season and parity on reproductive performance. The results showed that: breed for TNB, born alive, litter weight at birth, weanling number, stillbirth and mummy was significantly different(p<0.05), for the number of mummy was no significant difference(p>0.05), the top rank of TNB, born alive, weanling number was Landrace, Duroc has opposite results; the impact of seasons for TNB, born alive, litter weight at birth, weanling number, stillbirth, mummy had significant difference(p<0.05), in spring,TNB, born alive, weanling number, stillbirth and the weight at birth was maximum, stillbirth and mummy was minimum in summer; parity for TNB, born alive, litter weight at birth, weanling number, and stillbirth was significantly different(p<0.05), the impact of parity for mummy was not significantly different(p>0.05). The achievement of the research would help manager of pig farm to ameliorate the management, enhance the sow fertility, increasing productivity of sows, make sows for farm to provide more and healthier piglet,in order to reduce cost of sows and increase reward.Non-production days of sows as an effective indicators of management of pig farm, the interval of sows between weaning and estrus again(WEI) is an important part of non-production days of sows, must cause the focus of pig enterprise management on it. In our study, the WEI of 2567 records was also researched and analyzed from a pig farm inGuangdong Province, multiple comparison was used to analyze the impact of breed, season and parity on the WEI. The results showed that: breed for the WEI was significantly different(p<0.05), the WEI of Duroc was the longest, the WEI of Landrace and Large White was no significant difference, inversely(p>0.05); season also affected on the WEI. In spring, the WEI could be shorten than other three seasons more than one days that had significantly difference(p<0.05), the WEI was the longest in winter. The effect of parity for the WEI was significantly different(p<0.05), the WEI of the first parity was longest, there was 10.72 days, the seventh parity was shortest, there was 7 days. The results help to pig enterprise shorten the WEI, increased parities of sows every year, that could improve the earnings of pig farm preferably. |
