| Oriental Fruit Moth [Grapholitha molesta (Busck)] which is originated from China and the Korean peninsula then distributed across Asia, Europe, America and Australia continents and now seriously endangering peach pear fruit-producing areas is a worldwide fruit pest and mainly hazardous to prunus and pyrus, including peach, plum, apricot, apple, pear, cherry, et al. via drilling fruit tree branch and fruit. Application of pheromones is one of important methods to integrated control this pest, due to their specificity, environmental protection and other advantages, are widely used in orchards worldwide. The key point of improving oriental fruit moth control technology is located over how to increase the control effect of pheromones and reducing production cost.In recent years, with the study of selection and transfer mechanism of host plant and Oriental Fruit Moth by experts from various countries, use of host volatiles on Oriental Fruit Moth control becomes possible, especially the study of luring activity of host volatile towards Oriental Fruit Moth males which provides a theoretical basis to Oriental Fruit Moth sex pheromone synergy. In this paper, we study two kinds of attractive activity of host volatiles for Oriental Fruit Moth males: A and B, the synergies for Oriental Fruit Moth sex attractant, through a year laboratory test Oriental Fruit Moth males EAG responses and the field trap test of small males. Synergism of verify its attractive activity and at the same time, initial screening ideal efficiency levels. Results showed that, both A and B can be Oriental Fruit Moth sex lure agent of increased effect agent for production practice application, specific increased effect for 20ug A>100ug B>100ug A and 100ug B mixed agent, increased effect value respectively for 54.5%,43.8%, and 50%, that 20ug A application value highest. Trace amounts of host volatiles of Oriental Fruit Moth sex pheromone Synergist, increase efficiency while reducing production costs, facilitate future promotion. |
