Water and soil erosion is a major environmental problem in the world today.Not only restricts the economic development of our country, but also threatens the ecological security, food security and other important issues.In order to make rational use of land resources, protect the ecological environment and realize the sustainable development, the problem to solve soil and water loss has become a top priority.In this paper, RS/GIS technology was used to study the temporal and spatial variation of land use and soil erosion based on the MATLAB software. It can provide scientific support for the rational use of land resources and conservation planning of soil and waterChangting County which is in Fujian Province is the research area in this paper. The Landsat remote sensing images of 2008 and 2013 were collected,and classified by neural network method based on the MATLAB software platform.And the classification accuracy had been greatly improved.And 11 spatial variables which affect the land use change were get by used the DEM data, soil data, vector data and other sources of data of the study area.And set the neural network as the conversion rules, to establish the dynamic model of land use based on the cell automaton.And this model was used to simulate and predict the land use of Changting county, the model simulation accuracy reached 85.40%.The results showed that from 2008 to 2013, the water area changed little, woodland and construction land decreased, the farmland and the bare land increased. This showed that people had realized the severity of soil erosion, and took a series of measures which were effective.Predict 2018 of land use compared with 2013, little change in water, forest land, construction land and bare land reduced, while the cultivated land increased, which was consistent with the development trend of Changting County, people knew more rational use of land resources.Using the universal soil loss equation (USLE model), the annual soil erosion modulus was estimated of 2008 and 2013 by using DEM data, years of rainfall data and land use data.And according to the classification of soil erosion classification criteria for classification.The results showed that the total amount of erosion decreased of 2013 compared with 2008 in the case of constant erosion of the total area.From the point of view of the area, in addition to the micro degree erosion had increased, the erosion area of other grades were reduced.On the basis of this result, the soil erosion intensity of different land use types was analyzed.In addition, based on the results of land use in 2018, the soil erosion was predicted.The prediction results showed that, the area of micro erosion and slight erosion increased slightly, and the area of moderate and above erosion decreased, and the total amount of erosion decreased further compared with 2013.It showed that the soil erosion was gradually improved, but if not to take strong measures to control, erosion degree would be more serious, soil erosion situation would be more senous.
