Study On The Cited Life Cycle Of Agricultural Scientific Literature Based On Ctation

Agricultural science is an important basic science and research results of agricultural science has very important significance for the development of science.Agricultural scientific literature is the carrier of agricultural scientific research results,it records and publishes the pre-existing scientific research,at the same time,provides reference and basis for the future direction of agricultural science research.With the development of agricultural science research,research results of agricultural science is rapidly accumulated and the number of agricultural science literature increase fast.How to use of agricultural scientific literature in reason has become an emerging field of agricultural science research.Citation analysis is an important means used to carry on scientific evaluation,scientific prediction and scientific research on laws of the development of science by logical methods and mathematical methods.Based on summarizing and developing previous studies,introduce the concept of "life cycle" into the citation analysis theory,define the cited life cycle of scientific literature and put forward the citation analysis method based on cited life cycle.The main research results are as follows:Introduce the origin and development of citation analysis,summarize the domestic and foreign research status of citation analysis and the pre-existing citation analysis methods of agricultural scientific literature,put forward the citation analysis method based on cited life cycle.Combine the cluster analysis method and the citation analysis method and according to differences of the literature cited life cycle,divide literature into different classes.by drawing the literature cited life cycle curve,analyze the cited life cycle directly.Use time series model to model the cited life cycle for reasonable validation and scientific explanation.Select the agricultural scientific literature published in 1990 of Web of Science to analyze its curves of the cited life cycle.First of all,according to differences of the cited life cycle,by using K-MEANS clustering method,divide the literature into different classes,and render the cited life cycle curves.Then,use time series model to model the cited life cycle of the agricultural scientific literature published in 1990 of Web of Science.The study finds that agricultural scientific literature cited life cycle can usually be divided into three periods:reference growth period,reference stabilization period and reference recession period;according to differences of the cited life cycle,it can be attributed to four different citation types:fast turning type,steady growth type,normal reference type and sustainable growth type.At the same time,the citation life cycle of journal has complex formation reason,and most journals include different citation types of literature,so the cited life cycle of journal is decided by literature of different cited life together.
