Research On Corn Plant Disease And Insect Pest Outbreak Regularity And Variety Disease Resistance In Yuyang District Yulin

Yuyang District,Yulin is one of the eugenic areas of spring corn,as the traditional crop in the whole district,corn plays an important role in enhancing agricultural efficiency and increasing farmer income.In this paper,the author visits and surveys the township under the jurisdiction of Yuyang District for the current situation and regularity of outbreak of corn insect pest in Yuyang District,Yulin and actual problem in the planting,in the method of field data,field test and questionnaire,etc.,combines survey data with test for summary and research.The author systematically analyzes and researches the current situation of core planting in Yuyang District,Yulin,outbreak regularity of main insect pest and problem in prevention and control,compares and analyzes the properties of different corn varieties,screens effective variety with good planting disease resistance and high yield in Yuyang District,analyzes common corn insect pest,and proposes feasible prevention and control measure.The main conclusion is as follows:Through survey,it is found that the main corn insect pests that affect the corn production in Yuyang District,Yulin City in recent years include exserohilum turcicum,bipolaris maydis,gall smut,ostrinia nubilalis,bacterial wilt,etc.The occurrence is closely related to cultivated variety,water and fertilizer management,temperature,humidity,light,wind,etc.According to aforesaid survey result,the author proposes some feasible preventive and control measures for these common plant diseases and insect pests.According to incomplete statistics,there are about 30 corn cultivated varieties in Yuyang District,in which Shandan 609 and Shanke 9 have the largest planting area.Through post-planting comprehensive comparison and analysis of 20 different corn varieties in Yuyang District,it is found that Shandan 609,Pingyu 8,Shanke 9,Yanke 288 have good performance in rate of emergence,plant growth,cluster character,acre yield.In which the acre yield is:1010.5kg for Shanke 9;1000.9kg for Yanke 288;1000.7 for Shandan 609;989kg for Pingyu 8.Therefore,it is recommended to plant aforesaid four varieties in large area.A smut disease diseased plant is found in the test field,which is Xiduo Q1.Exserohilum turcicum,bipolaris maydis occur in 20 test varieties in the late growth period of corn,in which Shandan 609,Pingyu 8,Shanke 9,Yanke 288,Weilong 105 have mild symptom and good disease resistance.Affected by continuous rainfall in August,several varieties have bacterial wilt,in which Caike818,Dafeng 30,Ximeng suffer from serious attack.The research shows that Yuyang District,Yulin lacks of systematical corn insect pest control technology system,agricultural department shall take measure to ensure the sustainable development of corn industry,including: 1)Strengthen forecasting of insect pest.2)Choose and plant disease resistant variety.3)Scientific cultivation management.4)Combination of various prevention and control means.Chemical pesticide is the first choice of prevention and control now,but we recommend to vigorously promote biological prevention and control and physical prevention and control in the highly centralized qualified farmland,combine several means to improve prevention and control effect.
