Drought has always been one of the most important meteorological disasters that affecting our country.It has a seriously negative impact on human survival,living environment and developments of economy and society.The grassland of Inner Mongolia is very vast and the its drought is one of the main natural disasters in Inner MongoliaTherefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to carry out the monitoring of drought disaster in grassland and establish an effective grassland drought monitoring model.In this paper,I uesd datas of the MERSI(Medium Resolution Spectral Imager)and the VIRR(Visible and Infra-Red Radiometer)from the FY-3 meteorological satellite,to study on the drought monitoring of grassland in Inner Mongolia.The main research work is as follows:(1)Extraction of grassland in Inner Mongolia.After comparing the accuracy and adaptability of the three classification methods,random forest classification was selected.Firstly,I selected the MERSI source data with good image quality,and classified them by random forest,maximum likelihood method and decision tree method.The Landsat-8 image data were used to verify the accuracy of the results.After comparing the three classification methods respectively,I select the random forest method to classify and extract the grassland,and make the grassland distribution in this paper.(2)Study on drought monitoring index of grassland..Using the MERSI data source product to generate NDVI and LST products,I inverted the drought index,vegetation water supply index and thermal inertia index model respectively,and generated the results of the drought index product,and combined the grassland distribution map,to generate grassland drought map;and compared the accuracy of the calculation results of the three indices.(3)Drought classification of grassland based on TVDI.Combined with the grassland drought situation in Inner Mongolia,I established a suitable drought index grading standards for Inner Mongolia grassland,the formation of drought grade thematic map.Then I analyzed the spatial and temporal changes of the grassland in Inner Mongolia with combining the meteorological data.Therefore,the use of FY-3A / MERSI satellite data to monitor the drought situation in Inner Mongolia grassland is feasible,and is suitable to promote the application in grassland drought monitoring area.
