In this paper,5 Lonicera genus in muchuan county (2 Lonicera acuminata germplasms and 3 Lonicera macranthoides germplasms) were as the test materials. Survey 5 Lonicera genus's economical character, Measure the content of main nutrients (Vc, amino acid, soluble sugar, soluble protein and Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, K) and antioxidative substance (chlorogenic acid, mignonette glycosides, flavonoids, total phenol and anthocyanins) of the flowers and leaves. Analysis the total antioxidant activity (to hydroxyl free radicals, superoxide anion and DPPH scavenging effect) of the extract of flowers and leaves. The main results were as follows:1. The ecological adaptability of local Lonicera acuminata germplasms "Cui Lei 001" and "Cui Lei 003" are strong; "Cui Lei 003"'high yielding is better, flowering is longer, has less plant diseases and insect pests, strong cutting seedlings, belongs to the early germplasms.The introduced Lonicera macranthoides germplasms (belongs to Lonicera confusa), include 'red bud 1','silver Cui Lei' and "Cui Lei 109", showed normal growth and development in muchuan county, "Cui Lei 109" has a good adaptability and commodity' production potential, can be gradually expanding the scope of the plant;'red bud 1' and 'silver Cui Lei' at a mountain of 1200 m high adaptability are poorer, can reduce altitude continue to observe.2. Flowers and leaves of the 5 Lonicera genus are rich in a variety of nutrients. The flowers and leaves of 'red bud 1' has rich nutrition, including high amino acids and K, "Cui Lei 109" flowers and leaves contains high protein and Vc,'silver Cui Lei' flowers and leaves soluble sugar content is higher; "Cui Lei 001" flowers and leaves protein, K content is higher; "Cui Lei 003" contains high Vc and Mg in flowers and leaves.3. The content of antioxidative substance in flowers and leaves of the 5 Lonicera genus, from high to low is total phenol, flavonoids and chlorogenic acid, mignonette glycosides and anthocyanins. The content of anthocyanins in 'red bud 1' is significantly higher than other materials; Total phenol content of the 5 materials is higher, the "Cui Lei 001" and "Cui Lei 109" flowers total phenol content were as high as 419.87 mg/g and 419.87 mg/g, Leaves of 'silver Cui Lei' and "Cui Lei 001" total phenol content were as high as 654.53 mg/g and 536.83 mg/g,'red bud 1' flowers and leaves total phenol content are the lowest; "Cui Lei 003 " flowers flavonoids content is the highest, at 13.79 mg/g, "Cui Lei 001" leaves flavonoids content is as high as 34.29 mg/g, significantly higher than other lines, "Cui Lei 109" flowers flavonoids content is the lowest, at 9.04mg/g; Flowers of "Cui Lei 003" has the highest contents of chlorogenic acid and mignonette, respectively up to 36.30 mg/g and 3.36 mg/g,'silver Cui Lei' and 'red bud 1' contents of mignonette in leaves is higher, respectively was 4.17 mg/g and 4.03 mg/g. Content of antioxidative substance in leaves of "Cui Lei 003"?"Cui Lei 001" and "Cui Lei 109" is higher overall of the 5 materials. Content of antioxidative substance in flowers of 'silver Cui Lei' and "Cui Lei 109" is higher overall of the 5 materials.4.5 Lonicera genus contents of chlorogenic acid, mignonette are accord with national standard. The content of total phenol, flavonoids, mignonette glycosides and anthocyanins in leaves were higher than in the flowers. contents of chlorogenic acid in flowers is higher than leaves, except "Cui Lei 109". The leaves of Lonicera acuminata and Lonicera macranthoides have equal or even higher health care value than flowers.5. Flowers and leaves's ability to remove DPPH and O2-· were higher than it's ability to remove·OH. Flowers and leaves of 'silver Cui Lei' and "Cui Lei 001" have higher free radical scavenging ability, Have higher antioxidant activity.6. The best harvest time of flowers is two white phase and three phase, The blade for tea should be chosen when the functional leaf was mature.
