Relationship Of Agronomic Traits And Yield Of Soybeans In North And Central Liaoning

In order to provide suitable soybean accessions in northern and central Liaoning province,to preliminarily discuss the mechanism of yield increment,8 soybean yield data,quality data and yield related traits data from the Tieling and Shenyang was collected.The relationship between the main agronomic characters and the yield and quality was analyzed,and the key factors affecting the yield of soybean were determined by the correlation analysis and the principal component analysis.The main results were as follows:(1)The yield of soybean was positively correlated with the growth period,branch number,lodging,pod number per plant,and the difference between the yield and the growth period and pod number per plant was extremely significant;the yield of soybean was negatively correlated with plant height,node number of main stem and 100-seeds weight,and the correlation with node number of main stem was extremely significant.The results showed that the main factors affecting yield were growth period,pod number per plant and node number of main stem.The high-yielding soybean lines had longer growth period,more pod number per plant and less node number of main stem.In selecting High-yield Soybean varieties,we should combine agronomic traits,select suitable varieties according to the planting area,reduce the influence of unfavorable climatic conditions through cultivation measures.(2)The protein content of soybean was positively correlated with branch number and 100-seeds weight,but negatively correlated with growth period,plant height,node number of main stem,pod number per plant and fat content.It indicated that soybean varieties with high protein content could be selected with more branches,larger 100-seeds weight,shorter growth period and lower plant height.(3)There was a positive correlation between the fat content of soybean and the growth period,the number of branches,the degree of lodging and the number of pod per plant.It had a negative correlation with plant height,the number of main stem nodes and 100-seeds weight,which indicated that the higher the fat content of soybean,the longer the growth period,the more branches and the index of lodging.Therefore,attention should be paid to the combination of agronomic traits in the breeding of high oil soybean varieties,and to avoid yield reduction by lodging.(4)In this study,8 new soybean lines were used to compare the difference of adaptation,yield,resistance,quality and other important traits with Tiefeng 33(CK)in two locations in 2016 and 2017(Shenyang and Tieling).Shennongdou27,Tiedou98,Shennongdou26,Liaodou60 and Liaodou59 showed good performance and were suitable for planting in north-central Liaoning.
