This study was conducted to investigate the effects of fibre source and multi-enzyme supplementation on digestibility and dissolubility of detergent fiber,minerals and non-starch polysaccharides(NSP)in growing pigs.Eight Duroc×Landrace×Large White barrows(initial BW of 30.1±1.5 kg)fitted with duodenal and terminal ileal cannulas were randomly divided into four groups according to a 4×4 Latin square design.Each group was fed one of the diets:Wheat bran basal diet(WBc),Wheat bran diet with CXP multi-enzyme(WBe),Soybean hulls basal diet(SBHc),and Soybean hulls diet with CXP multi-enzyme(SBHe),respectively.Additive levels of CXP multi-enzyme were as follows:cellulase 1000 U/kg,xylanase 5000 U/kg and phytase 1500 U/kg.The experiment contained four periods,each period lasted for 20 d with 14-d adaptation period and 6-d sampling period.During the sampling period,feed,duodenal digesta,ileal digesta and faecal sample were collected.Expt.1.Effects offibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on detergent fiber digestibilityThe objective of this experiment was to examine the effects of fibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on digestibility of NDF and ADF in growing pigs.The results showed as follows:the apparent duodenal digestibility(ADD)and apparent ileal digestibility(AID)of NDF and ADF in WB diet were significantly higher than that in SBH diet(P<0.05),but the apparent total tract digestibility(ATTD)of NDF and ADF were significantly lower than that in SBH diet(P<0.05).CXP multi-enzyme significantly increased the AID and ATTD of NDF in WB diet,also significantly improved the ATTD of NDF in SBH diet and ADD of ADF in WB diet(P<0.05).In conclusion,the NDF and ADF of SBH diet has higher ATTD compared with WB diet,and CXP multi-enzyme can promote the digestion of detergent fiber in both WB and SBH diet.Expt.2.Effects of fibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on digestibility and dissolubility of mineralsThis experiment was aimed to investigate the effects of fibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on mineral apparent digestibility and binding-mineral dissolubility(BMD)in growing pigs.Results showed that the ADD and BMD of Ca,Mg,Mn in WB diet were significantly higher than that in SBH diet(P<0.05),but the ADD of P,ATTD and total tract BMD of Cu in WB diet were obviously lower than that in SBH diet(P<0.05).The ratio of duodenal and ileal soluble Fe,Zn in WB diet were found to be less than SBH diet(P<0.05).As for WB diet,the supplementation of CXP multi-enzyme enhanced the AID of Cu,Zn,ATTD of Ca,Zn,Mn and total tract BMD of Zn,Mn(P<0.05).For SBH diet,CXP multi-enzyme significantly increased the ADD of P,Fe,Mn,ATTD of Fe,Zn and total tract BMD of Zn,Mn(P<0.05).Besides,with the supplementation of CXP multi-enzyme,the ratio of duodenal soluble Ca,P and ileal soluble P in two diets were significantly improved(P<0.05).The results indicate that the digestibility and dissolubility of minerals have obvious differences between WB diet and SBH diet,and both are higher in duodenum than that in ileum.In addiction,CXP multi-enzyme can significantly increase the apparent digestibility of minerals.Expt.3.Effects of fibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on digestibility and dissolubility of non-starch polysaccharidesThis experiment was conducted to study the effects of fibre source and CXP multi-enzyme on the digestibility and dissolubility of NSP in growing pigs and to research the difference between physiological SNSP(P-SNSP)and chemical SNSP(C-SNSP).The ADD of Xyl,Glu,TNSP,AID of Ara,Xyl,TNSP and ATTD of Xyl,Glu were higher for WB diet than for SBH diet(P<0.05),but the ATTD of Rha,Fuc,Ara,Man,Gla,UA were found to be lower in WB diet(P<0.05).Further,the duodenal and ileal dissolubility of Rha,Ara,Xyl,Glu,UA,TNSP in WB diet were significantly higher than that in SBH diet(P<0.05).CXP multi-enzyme increased the AID and ATTD of Rha,Ara,Xyl,Man,Glu,TNSP,the duodenal and ileal dissolubility of Ara,Xyl,Glu,TNSP in WB diet(P<0.05).Also,CXP multi-enzyme significantly enhanced the ADD and ATTD of Fuc,Xyl,Glu,TNSP and the duodenal dissolubility of Ara,Xyl,TNSP in SBH diet(P<0.05).The ratio of duodenal and ileal soluble Rha,Xyl,Man,Gal,Glu,UA,TNSP in WB diet were higher for C-SNSP than for P-SNSP(P<0.05).Similarly,the ratio of duodenal and ileal soluble Ara,Gal,UA,TNSP in SBH diet were higher for C-SNSP than for P-SNSP(P<0.05).It can be concluded that large intestine is the principal site of NSP digestion,and SNSP can affect the digestion of NSP,thus the NSP of SBH diet is easier to digest than WB diet.CXP multi-enzyme can significantly improve the digestibility and dissolubility of NSP.Moreover,C-SNSP is higher than P-SNSP,but the overall change regulation of C-SNSP and P-SNSP is accordant.
