Farmland monitoring is an important symbol of modern agriculture intelligence and informatization.Recently,the first problem need to be solved,with regards to modern agriculture systems,is how to gain timely information of crop growth in the field.According to the statistics,growth information shortage of farmland is the main limit factor for agriculture production.Hence,it is an inevitable trend to equip advanced farmland image acquisition equipment between the field parcels.Farmland Image Acquisition System(FIAS),as a comprehensive acquisition system,is constructed by using several special techniques,such as embedded system technology,bus communication technology,sensor technology,image conversion technology,automatic control technology.This system can provide users with comprehensive farmland growing information,including information monitoring,Real-time query data and data backup and restore.Also,it is really helpful for farmland management department to obtain the effective and stable field information,which will facilitate managements and dispatchments.Then,we can reduce the probability of lower grain yield caused by growth information shortage of farmland.In this paper,by utilizing the embedded technology,Farmland Image Acquisition System and its hardware and software are designed.Also,the business terminal software is designed.Here,the hardware of the FIAS is the combination of the core board and the bottom board,in which,the quad-cores ARM chip imax6 q is used as control chip of Core board.The hardware design of FIAS includes the control subsystem,the monitoring subsystem and the extended subsystem.Among them,each part of the system contains multiple interface circuits.Additionally,a software design of FIAS based on the Linux system and multi-threading technology was adopted.FIAS business software based on VS2012 software are introduced in this paper.It is worth mentioning that FIAS business software has some outstanding functions,such as image display,control cradle movement and so on.The FIAS business software can realize the real-time monitoring and inquiring eachmeteorological element from farmland image acquisition sites.As a result,it is convenient for users to manage the farmland image data.This paper designs the Farmland Image Acquisition System and also constructs a prototype.The test results of prototype indicate that the design of Farmland Image Acquisition System has better performance in low power consumption,real-time acquisition.It is easy to use and function expansion etc.Finally,for those defects that appear during the testing,some ideas and solutions have been introduced.
