During the long years of agricultural development,the plant disease has been greatly restricted the development of Chinese agriculture.The traditional methods,such as spraying of pesticides may cause more serious consequences to environmental.Therefore,we need a more effective and secure way to control plant disease.The traditional methods eased plant disease to some extent.But the real-time of traditional method is poor.And there are a lot of problems such as labor-intensive,low efficient.So the application of video surveillance technology in agriculture is a new approach.This technology not only can effectively solve the problem of poor real-time,but also can achieve the goal of efficient production and sustainable of agricultural.We create a video surveillance system base on TMS320DM6446.The camera in field monitor the plants,collecting plant disease information in the growth process.The video is encoded by DM6446d and sent to monitoring center by wireless transmission.We can analysis the disease picture to see if there are some plant diseases.Once there are some diseases,we comparison with the plant disease in the database immediately.Finally we provide control methods.This article is designed tomato disease diagnosis interface based on tomato disease,establish a database of typical diseases,disease diagnosis input interface,distress species diagnosis,and access control methods recommendation.
