Influence of Baolu(Mefenoxam + Fludioxonil + Azoxystrobin)and Manshijin(Fludioxonil+ Mefenoxam)on physiological growth and yield were studied in maize by means of seed coating techniques.Current study was conducted at Jilin University Agriculture Research station in Jilin Province(45 ° 15’N,127 ° 02’E)during 2015 and 2016.Treatments were arranged under Randomized Complete Block Design(RCBD),each treatment was replicated four times.Applied treatments were Baolu 300ml/100 kg and Manshijin 150ml/100 kg,and one treatment was kept as control for comparison.Effect of Baolu and Manshijin on growth and development and yield were found superior than the control.Highest recorded value of plant height for Baolu and Manshijin was 323.0 cm and 275.8 cm,respectively, with 3.16%increase in plant height for Baolu and 6.81% lower for Manshijin, moreover maximum recorded ear height for Baolu and Manshijin was 114.2 cm and 116.0 cm,respectively which was not significantly higher than control. In 2015,yield of Baolu and Manshijin treated experimental unit was 8.25%and 7.96%,respectively higher than the control.Moreover,for2016 this yield superiority was 14.21% and 13.14% higher for Baolu and Manshijin respectively than control.Similarly, both treated agents significantly increased the SPAD value and chlorophyll content in maize. For yield, the difference between the treatments means was statistically significant for both years. This study stated that physiological growth and yield of maize can be increase by using Baolu and Manshijin seed coatings.
