Study On The Application Of Crops In The Landscape Design Of Urban Residential Community

Urban residential community is a city population gathering area,the design of its landscape and the ecological structure of its vegetation play an important role in urban living environment and even urban landscape ecological system.In recent years,the development of urban residential community has been developing rapidly.The environmental conditions and quality of residential community have also been greatly improved.However,the similarity and oneness of landscape forms and contents in the construction of residential communities is one of the main problems.Hereby the main interest of this paper is to study the establishment of small-scale crop plantations in the residential community landscape(also can be called community farmland),so as to increase the diversity of vegetation species,establish multi-type landscape forms and improve the landscape quality of residential communities.Firstly,the changing of urban living environment and life habits are discussed through the development of landscapes in residential community of our country.By our field investigation in urban community,it is found that fruits and vegetables are commonly planted around the building.Many professional persons have tried to apply crops in design of urban green landscapes and achieved good effect.Based on the theory and research methods of urban community farmland,this paper analyzes its development at home and abroad,and sums up corresponding technical roadmap.Secondly,through analysis of relevant literatures and investigation of the status of planting species in community,it is suggested that crop-related cultivars should be applied to the landscape design of residential area,so that the crops can be combined with the vegetation of community to form a complete landscape alignment,highlight its characteristics as landscape elements and enhance landscape effect.Then,the author analyzes relevant examples at home and abroad,sums up the design goals,principles and strategies of community farmland,and puts forwardreasonable measures on participation and management of the crop-type landscapes.Finally,using the planning and design methods of urban community farmland,the author conducts reconstruction designs of a community called Jinan Agile Park.The focus of the paper is on exploring how crops and other vegetation trees,shrubs,and ground are matched to form a harmonious and distinct environment system which can satisfy the need of diversity,educational interaction and health-preservation.Based on the principle of diversification and ecology of vegetation landscape in modern residential communities,reconstruction designs of a community called Jinan Agile Park are carried out to build landscapes with multi-form and variety plantations which are suitable for the living environment of modern society.It is hoped that the research of this paper will provide some reference for the future construction of community landscape.
