In recent years, the demand of renewable fuels is increasing with the continuous development of science and technology. It is estimated that the scale of industrial ethanol production in China was 5 million tons per year.Sugar cane, sugar beet and sweet sorghum are the main raw materials for industrial ethanol production and sweet sorghum has the characteristics of drought resistance, salt tolerance, high yield and high sugar content, which is very suitable for the soil and climate in Inner Mongolia.Although the ethanol production by solid-fermentation from sweet sorghum straw has many advantages, such as low cost, not easy to contaminate and no waste water, there are still many problems. It is the main problem faced with the ethanol production by sweet sorghum straw that the wastes from solid-state fermentation process have not been rational exploited.Based on the above problem, the effect of different proportion of fresh sweet sorghum straw and wastes from solid-state fermentation of sweet sorghum straw(F&W)is studied and some microbe had potential to apply as microbial-ensilaged strain are isolated. The results showed that the optimal proportion of F&W is 1/10 and the nutritional value and quality of microbial-ensilaged feed was improved.Compared with of control, the soluble sugar is increased by 0.14%,the crude protein is increased by 0.5%,crude fiber is increased by 2.01%,lactic acid is increased by 0.12%and acetic acid was reduced by 0.48%.In addition,a total of 102 strains were isolated from the sample of sweet sorghum(Sorghum bicolor L Moench),maize(Zea mays),quinoa(Chenopodium album)and alfalfa(Medicago truncatula)and 51 of them was identified as lactic acid bacteria.Finaly,8 strains has the potential to use as microbial-ensilaged strain and FJL3 is Lactobacillus paracasei?FJL4 is Lactobacillus plantarum?FJLI1 is Leuconostoc mesenteroides?FJL13 is Lactobacillus paracasei?FJL16 is Pediococcus pentosaceus?FJL19 is Pediococcus pentosaceus?JL20 is Lactobacillus sp?FJL21 is Lactobacillus plantarum. Moreover, the effects of the addition of commercial inoculants and the inoculants on the fermentation quality of F&W(1/10)were studied and the results showed that FJL21 could significantly improve the quality of feed.Compared with control,FJL21 can increase lactic acid content by 1.38%.increase crude protein by 0.16%.increase soluble sugar by 0.04%,decrease NH3-N by 11.25%and significantly improve the aerobic stability of microbial-ensilaged feed. Finally,it was concluded that the integrated score of the microbial-ensilaged feed of F&W and the score of adding FJL21 is 89.It reached the standard of high quality of feed.In summary, the best ratio of F&W is established and FJL21 has the potential to use as strain to microbial-ensilaged feed of F&W.It laid the foundation to further improve the process of the solid state fermentation of sweet sorghum for ethanol production.
