Io T can manage the machine,device and person in our life,it includes environmental perception,embedded computing,network communications and network control.It realizes the close combination and coordination of computing resources and physical resources.There are some mature Io T applications in smart home,mobile internet,environmental monitoring,intelligent security and logistics management.The application of the IoT in the field of grain storage is a new challenge,in our country it has a long storage period and poor facilities,there may be many issues in unstable environment such as overheated,condensation,mildew,pestis and so on.Grain monitoring system can get temperatures,humidity,gas concentration by plenty of sensors and transform these data to workers,the workers in granaries can carry out their work based on these data.In modern Chinese granaries,we have many problems in our management such as poor intelligence,complex engineering,poor equipment and working conditions.In this paper,we propose a flexible system model which combine grain monitoring and Io T,it has low power consumption and cost.(1)Researched on the developments and issues of grain monitoring,we put forward a grain monitoring system model based on the features and application requirements from the viewpoint of the function.There are three kinds of device in this system: sensing node,relay node,Io T gateway.The designs of these nodes are given in the article,and based on these module we completed data acquisition.(2)Researched on the networking model of this system.The network topology,MAC protocol and routing protocol have a great impact on the system performance,power consumption and life cycle.We raise a network model based on network size,application scenarios and power requirement,the experiment shows that under normal circumstances,the sensing node power supply can meet the requirements of grain monitoring work.
