In order to clarify the effect of total mulching cultivation techniques on the physiological characteristics and yield of millet,"Zhangzagu No.3" was used as the test material.In the year of 2015-2016,in the Qingshuihe County,Inner Mongolia,which is located in the hilly area of the Loess Plateau,the whole film level tillage(QP),full plastic micro ditch tillage(QW)and open-air level tillage(CK)were used to study the effects of whole-film cultivation on morphological and physiological characteristics,soil index,grain yield and quality of millet.The whole mulching cultivation of dryland millet in the area.The results are as follows:1.The QP and QW treatments increased significantly 9.94%and 6.24%,respectively,compared with CK,respectively.Two years of emergence rate were between the performance:QP>QW>CK.2.The whole mulching treatment can increase the plant height at Seedling stage and jointing stage and the difference is significant,and the plant height of QW treatment is the largest.The mulching treatment can increase the SPAD value and the photosynthetic rate of the leaves.The QP treatment was 6.22%-36.74%higher than that of CK.The QW treatment increased the SPAD value by 4.77%-31.12%compared with CK.The two treatments could increase the photosynthetic rate 51.92%and 62.02%respectively.In addition,the whole film mulching treatment can increase the drought resistance of millet,reduce the activity of SOD in leaves,decrease the content of MDA and free proline in leaves,alleviate the damage of leaves to drought and ensure the growth and development of millet during drought period.3.The whole mulching treatment can increase the soil water content of soil 0-40cm soil layer,in the more arid seedling,the whole film treatment of soil water content increase effect up to 56.76%.The content of soil microbial biomass C and N in 10-20 cm soil layer was increased by the whole film mulching,and the content of soil microbial C was 7.36%-67.76%higher than that of CK.Compared with CK,the content of microbial biomass N was up to 47.95%.The total film mulching increased the soil water content and the microbial biomass C and N,and ensured that the soil environment was beneficial to the growth and development of millet and ensured the formation of yield.4.The results showed that the maximum increase could be 16.28%,22.71%and 39.55%,respectively.The results showed that the whole grain mulching treatment could improve the grain yield in two years,and the effect of grain yield was between 11.48%and 29.96%.5.The whole film mulching treatment can improve the grain protein content of 2.86%-11.19%,improve the grain fat content of 2.58%-13.93%,although the whole film treatment to improve the grain fat,protein content,but the grain protein and fat content treatment differences Not obvious.6.The whole film mulching treatment of millet seedling rate,morphological and physiological indicators,soil indicators,yield indicators of the increase or decrease in the larger rainfall in the year,smaller in the rain year.Full film treatment can significantly increase the water use efficiency,thereby increasing the economic benefits.
