Panax notoginseng plant as a precious and ancient Chinese herbal medicine,its medicinal value is extremely high.And Yunnan Province as the largest production and processing base in China,Notoginseng plant of the standardized planting is extremely valued.The seed of Panax notoginseng are planted at the end of each year and transplanted at the end of the following year.Now there is no systematic classification of science about Panax notoginseng seedlings,directly by the artificial transplant seedlings,which has a great impact to the follow-up of the growth and production.Because people do not know enough about the physical and mechanical characteristics of the Panax notoginseng seedlings,it is difficult to design a suitable machinery for the transplanting of Panax notoginseng seedlings standardized transplanting machinery,and at this stage the market is not for the Panax notoginseng seedlings of transplanting machinery.Not only for labor demand too large,but also lead to the third year of the harvest of the quality of uneven.Therefore,a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and reasonable grading of Panax notoginseng seedlings could provide strong data support for Panax notoginseng seedlings transplanting machine design,which is the basis of the design of three or seven seedlings transplanting machine.In this study,we first studied the Panax notoginseng seedlings grown in Yunnan Province systematically,The data were collected by statistical software,and a scientific classification method was put forward to classify the Panax notoginseng seedlings.And some physical and mechanical characteristics of the Panax notoginseng seedlings that have been divided into good grades are studied.Finally,put forward a method for Panax notoginseng seedlings grading based on image processing,and test for the reliability.The main contents,methods and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Study the quality of the Panax notoginseng seedlings.This paper collected the Panax notoginseng seedlings from the 10 different places in places of origin and new origin,and analyzed the basic shape parameters in SPSS.There are literature and national standards on the analysis of Panax notoginseng,resulting in a scientific and effective classification methods and grading.(2)According to the method of determination of the physical and mechanical properties of agricultural materials and agricultural solid materials,the basic physical and mechanical properties such as the quality,volume,density and water content of Panax notoginseng seedlings were measured and tested according to GB/T1928-2009 " Methods of test for physical and mechanical properties of wood "compression,shear characteristics of the test.Get the relationship about the quality,root length root diameter,density and water content with the grade of Panax notoginseng,And get the maximum axial compressive stress,radial compressive stress,axial shear stress,radial shear stress and the average axial compressive elastic modulus,radial compressive elastic modulus,axial shear modulus and radial shear modulus and poisson's ratio.(3)The images were collected and analyzed by Matlab software,and the projection area of the binary images of Panax notoginseng seedlings was obtained,and the regression equation was established.Panax notoginseng seedlings division method based on image processing is proposed.
